  1. Id rather look at Lewis Johnston
  2. He should have taken the offer up from the Dees last year. Would have played a lot of footy with us this year and a lot midfield action.
  3. Source? or is it your gut feeling?
  4. With the inclusion of Garlett i would love to see Kent spend more time in the center circle and around the wings. I believe his pace and powerful strength would be real asset in and around the stoppages as he is able to break away and kick long goals as he showed this year. He was originally drafted as a midfielder because he won the Jack Clarke Medal as a solid inside midfielder in the colts which is equivalent to the Brownlow. He missed all of the pre season due to a knee injury so that really halted his first half of the year but i thought he showed real promise towards the end of the year. Still needs to work on his consistency but that will come with more experience. Looking forward to him having his first full pre season as i believe he has huge potential and probably goes a bit underrated compared to the likes of Tyson Viney Salem JKH Toumpas... I love how he backs himself and takes the game on with his blistering speed something that we could use in the midfield. I just would love to see him move up field with short burst up forward aswell. Thoughts?
  5. Lol no way the guy has made his bed and now he needs to lie in it.Listen to Terry Wallace assessment on the cats and you would agree that they are on the way down.
  6. Oh yeah because we have had such a great strike rate with draft picks.. FMD
  7. Got no problem with Ralphy. I am though a big fane of Terry Wallace. his insights on trade radio are very good to listen too. Very honest and doesn't sugar coat things. His list assessment on teams this year on trade radio have absolutely spot on. Listen to the one about Geelong and he is on the mark.
  8. We need atleast 3 live picks in the draft. Looking at that we have absolutely no picks whatsoever.
  9. Its not like the guy has asked to be traded. He isn't even that sure if he wants to. Obviously the kid still wants to help the club and yet we are thinking of offloading him? I will be so disappointed in Roos and the rest of the staff if this goes ahead. Unless we have a big name player ready to come you don't just trade out a pick 2 who in 2011 showed he could be a future star of the game.
  10. Statement from the club MELBOURNE is considering trading former captain Jack Trengove and pick 23 to Richmond for pick 12. Trengove has battled foot problems in the past two seasons and played just two games in 2014. The 23-year-old had an operation on the navicular bone in his foot and spent time away from the club this season to recover. Trengove was the second pick overall in the 2009 AFL National Draft and had a brilliant start to his career however his form tailed off after he was named captain in 2012. He was the youngest captain in the game's history but only lasted two seasons in the job before relinquishing the spot to concentrate on enjoying his football. The Demons are aware he is a popular and loyal figure and remained coy about whether the deal would eventuate. "We said after our last game to our playing list that we would look at all avenues to improve our list. Richmond came to us with a potential deal, Jack is aware of this and all parties will now take some time to consider our options," a Melbourne spokeperson said. However with the Tigers looking to bolster their midfield and being a club on the rise, Trengove might be recharged by a new environment.
  11. Brett Anderson ‏@BrettAndersonIF 18h18 hours ago Trengove might not be only ex-high Dees draft pick we hear about in next few days. Melbourne brass have plenty of work ahead #AFLTrades Whats going on down the club??
  12. Players these days are a bunch of soffcocks and this is coming from a 24 year old too. What happened to copping it on the chin and moving on?? Too much player power these days and AFL has a huge problem here.
  13. I feel for BM. And Hogan Hero's is right, Aker was right all along with Brad Johnson and Rob Murphy in the way they were as leaders. It is quite obvious that its been passed on down to the likes of Griffin. Poor form by the Western Bulldogs.
  14. No. I do not ever want to deal with Essendon. And this trade period just shows why.
  15. Bag him all you want but he broke the: Goodwin news early Hogan Back Injury Essendon saga Gold Coast coaching saga. Yes I cant stand him but atleast he does get most of them right.
  16. Apparently Mark Whiley has rejected an offer from Carlton. Wouldn't mind having a crack at him.
  17. The potential of Mcartin in there now does start to look formidable.
