Saw this kid live on telly when they played the allies and he was a beauty. Very skinny but he was providing dash and showed courage in the air. Reminded me alot of Andrew Mackie.

He was dropped. He had 3 disposals against Richmond in the VFL senior then had the bye and played development league after that.

I swear he tore us apart at the G couple of years ago.

When your getting dropped to the development league in your 3rd year of AFL footy you know your in serious trouble. There are no comparisons to Gawn or Spencer. They were both playing senior AFL level at 19 years old. King is nearly 21 and has struggled this year. You can just about put a line through him.

In all seriousness GCDee il try to talk reasonable with you as you probably dont deserve the flack your currently receiving but i can see your logic and what your trying to say. Unfortunately i put Cloke in the David Rodan and Shannon Byrnes category as old washed up have beens that are just battling in the VFL. We are now past the moneyball stage where we just recruit to fill in the list and help our young kids. We are now a destination clubs for the likes of Prestia Fyfe O Meara etc.. The days of recruiting the Rodans, Byrnes, Gillies and even Cross are now over. Now if it was 2013 and Cloke was in the situation he is in now then i would say ues becausd he would take the pressure off a young Hogan and Watts.

As much as Tom frustrates the [censored] out of me with his disposal this signing is huge. His 2nd half of the season is close to the early AA form he showed last year. Well done Tom.

The Harmes call for being dropped is crazy.. If some people actually watched the game they would have seen James Harmes completely shut down Luke Bruest. Yes he has to tidy up his disposal by he takes the game on and did a sterling job on Bruest that no doubt would have got the pats on the back from coaching staff.

Agreed its a very low act. Countless of times i have been wrong on players and written them off only to put on a stack of kilos because of the humble pie i have eaten. I'm always the first to put my hand too. Nothing wrong with being gracious in defeat Pickett. Ps Oscar has actually been very solid and important the last 2 weeks. He is composed and uses it well. Another player i wanted to banish to the VFL.. glad he is proving me wrong. Keep it up Oscar!

Billy Stretch is a far more superior player then Lewis and he would be on about 70 to 90k a year Its actually very embarrassing he is getting paid that much.
