WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
Exactly right. But you are also wrong. Jason ventured down to Tassie on the back of receiving a list of names to go and watch closely. Lockhart was one of them. Taylor and Tim Lamb both went down and watched several games where Lockhart was the clear stand out on that list. What pricked our recruiters ears up was Lockharts BOG performance in the stage game against the NEAFL. Taylor and our recruitment team encouraged him to try his luck on a more high standard at VFL level. Before Tom Couch had signed at Casey Demons at the start of 2018 he pushed Lockharts case really hard to Jade Rawlings as well but also got huge endorsement from Jason Taylor as it was an opportunity to really keep an eye out on a weekly basis. Couch had played with and mentored Lockhart, especially from a fitness point of view. Couch really encouraged and pushed him to give VFL a real go. It was Jason Taylor and his team who first spotted Lockhart.

Oscar McDonald
No. We are a May or Frost injury away from Oscar being back in the side. Otherwise he is depth at Casey.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
I think we can definitely fit in Hore, May, Lever and Frost. Frost is such a different hybrid of a defender. For someone who is 194cm, he has speed of a small running defender and can easily play on the small blokes like Walters. I'd give him first choice on Cameron next week. Lever and Hore are brilliant intercept defenders. Something we haven't had since Jared Rivers. Once May and Lever are up and going Hore plays a floating defender In the same way as what Tom Stewart does down at Geelong.

Agree wholeheartedly. But with Lever to come back in where does that leave Petty? I am a very big supporter of Petty. He shows real glimpse of his attack in the air and plays a bit like Lever with his intercept marking and spoiling. Wonder whether he is worth a shot up forward?

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
Bigger grounds and quicker standard of footy suits the style of someone like Baker.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAY LOCKHART
When I watched him against Collingwood last week in the VFL he was 2 steps above everyone else. His speed and power around the contests were phenomenal. The fact that he is already making a huge impact with NO afl pre season behind is amazing. Has huge upside.

ANB Close to Re-Signing?
How he got a call up from Casey after his ordinary 14 disposal game is just bizarre.. The likes of Dunkley, Wagner and even JKH were far more dominant and influence the game much great then Neal Bullen.. Rewarding mediocrity performance.. it's gotta stop.

Brad Hill
JKH?? For what? Get a VFL standard player to try and convince a gun AFL player only to be delisted couple of months later.. Lol management at its best...

Brad Hill
Article backing up what i said earlier.. if Brad Hill ends up asking for a trade request it will be at Hawthorn and Hawthorn only. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-trade-news-bradley-hill-ponders-requesting-a-trade-to-hawthorn-for-second-straight-season/news-story/8d770699c773956c39707b9520d8a949

Brad Hill
Suit yourself bro..
-
Brad Hill
Mate he's no chance at all. Once they nominate a club they just simply get there. Hill will nominate Hawthorn and get there.
-
Brad Hill
No chance of Brad Hill ever coming to the Dees. Was very close to seeking a trade last year to the hawks. He'll be a hawk when he decides to come back to Victoria.
