  1. Just a few notes, James Munro did not look out of place at all. A few hard tackles here and there. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if we considered him for mid year draft, especially with KK and Nietshke on the long term injury list. Mitch Lewis was another who performed well for is from a Casey perspective. Dom Tyson is an absolute shadow of himself. Im sorry to say but he hasn't improved at all. I always like domma and wanted him to kick on at North, but he's depth for them and if he is not playing in the center circle then he's useless elsewhere.
  2. From AFL.com At one stage, after a late Tarrant spoil on Bayley Fritsch – another standout in his first pre-season hitout – Pickett physically remonstrated with the North Melbourne backman. Love it!
  3. Was meant to say *10
  4. Yes he was rested in the last qtr.
  5. Watched him against north just then and he was unsighted the whole game. He'll be lucky to play 20 games this year if we get everyone on the park each week. He is depth and i reckon he will either be delisted or traded at years end unfortunately.
  6. North - in for a year if pain. The fact they couldnt beat a side with 8 VFL players is worrying. As i mentioned during the game, bottom 4 side. Reminds of Melbourne of 2012 when Neeld came on board. Brayshaw- played the 2nd half and played really well after started a bit rusty. Play next week and get him cherry ripe for round 1. Baker- Good in patches I thought. Showed some real run and carry and used the ball well. Will play senior footy this year. Bradke- actually thought he battled well even though he was rag-doll. Something to work with there. His timing around the center was off times. The other kid who wore number 35 had a much better keep on him and was jumping all over Xerri.. Courtney?? Melksham- Was BOG in the first half. Bedford- liked his game, his run down tackle on Daw and his goal was a highlight. Should have easily kicked 3. Works very hard. Hunt- Will be lucky to play 10 games this year. Confidence looks shot and he'll either be traded or delisted. Pickett- Lock him in for round 1. Should have easily kicked 3. Brown- Lock him in for round 1. Should have easily kicked 4. Rivers- Besides his blunder he was the highlight for me. Has a huge booming kick and hit his targets well. Now I know why we didn't take Hayden Young because this kid will be just as good.
  7. Tell you what, North should be well ahead. They have 1 VFL too up player and we have 8. To be honest i have never rated them. Bland and boring football club who will be bottom 4 this year.
  8. Gus had been quiet. And rusty. Baker has been good with some run and dash on the wing. More game time and i can see him playing senior footy soon. Spargo has been good. Pickett has had around 7 touches of the ball and already kick 0.2, he'll play round 1. Melksham has been BOG
  9. Besides the turn over, Rivers has been good as has Spargo.
  10. Tried to log into live stream and it's just got advertisements...
  11. Kanes on the bandwagon! https://www.sen.com.au/news/2020/02/27/cornes-hails-melbournes-exceptionally-good-week/
  12. He'll be playing majority of the year in the VFL. Good depth for them. Sad how this has turned out for him.
  13. Interesting that Pickett is playing but not Jackson.
  14. Will teams be released today?
  15. Wasn't there a report also that May and Lever also polled higher votes then higher? Interesting a few boys have put something up on social media (mostly insta stories) congratulating Gawn as captain, but nothing from Jack yet.
  16. Agree. Hawk supporters were delusional. I was a Frost fan, but he was horrible on the weekend.
  17. I watched full game of the Hawks and Saints game and frost was horrible. Turnovers, and gave away dumb frees.
  18. This is why Cyril was such an exciting player. He would only win the ball 10-15 times during the game, but it's his frenetic and chaos tackling pressure that would put the fear into opposition players. Pickett is exactly that player. This could be another bargain Clayton Oliver like pick from Taylor.
  19. Btw that was just brilliant... really gota real insight into just what goes on behind closed doors and especially the way Goody operates.
  20. Jesus mate, you really do look to deep into these kind of stuff too hard. We selected Jackson and that's it. Support the kid and move on..
  21. And this proves why you are clueless.
  22. Not enough mentions of Lockhart, Sparrow and especially our leader in the making in Jake Lever who mopped up everything that came his way.
  23. Weid played a great game. Hes a 196cm key forward who had to ruck the whole game against a 202cm genuine ruckman. Once Gawn and Pruess come back in Weid give us another option up forward alongside Brown and McDonald.
