PREGAME: Rd 01 vs West Coast Eagles

Take the time out to feel for Bedford and Picketts family who unfortunately won't be there live to watch their kids debut. Years of sacrifices they've had to make and unfortunately not their to see the fruits of their labour.

I've also taken that into account. But speed of the game will eventually get hold of him. First half against the crows he was sluggish then picked up his mojo in the 2nd half. 1st half against Hawks he was barely sighted. And look it was always going to take time for him I understand that, but it will eventually catch up to him If they eventually shut the season down then that's another whole season hes missed. Club needs to do what's best for the club moving forward.

But doesn't age become a factor as well? He'll be 29 this year and has only played 7 games in 4 years. Yes injury has killed him of getting more games, but how long is too long? I personally cannot see him making it back and having the impact he would like. Really feel for the poor bloke.

I think some serious discussions needs to be held around his future. I think the club is all about wanting to support him while he's had all these term injuries, but a time comes where you just have to bite the bullet unfortunately. Same with KK. There were still a lot of talented footballers who missed out last year that I would rather have them fit and firing on our list. It pains me to say that about Vanders because i love him as a player. But hes been on our list too long for little return.

Jake Lever - Our next captain?

Agree, why does Max have to take into consideration of Jacks feelings? Maxy is as honest as they come, and if he simply rates Lever well ahead of Jack then of course he'll say that. Again, let's not forgot that not all players thought highly of Jacks leadership..

They've just suspended country footy up this way. Take note AFL, this is far bigger then the game itself.

		Coronavirus: AFL & MFC

My little brother just got selected by Box Hill hawks after strong recommendation from Hawthorn recruiters playing bush footy up here. Spoke to him this morning and he was distraught. Life is getting cruel. But as i said to him, life is more valuable then a game of footy.

		Coronavirus & Other Sports

Let'splay nice. We are currently going through something that none of us have experienced this in our lifetime. It's quite obvious now that it'll only get worse before it gets better, but how worse is too much? Economic collapse? Growing number in deaths for not only elderly but people of all ages? We are in unfamiliar territory. Scary times ahead.

Just remember you fired the first shot in this "Dee". Don't go crying like a little [censored] because you are being called out for the stain human that you are. I do LOL at his rolling "Casey" team" that he's got going on. Anyway, this is my last post on this. Thread is Getting derailed.

Jake Lever - Our next captain?

Yes agree with this also. Though the 2 games I have seen in the Marsh series points to him having a really good season tpuch wood with injury.

		New Irish Dees Stynes Connection

Great article. It would be great if the club went down the track of getting back into recruiting Irish blokes. We could do with a Connor McKenna or Zach Touhey down back.

Jake Lever - Our next captain?

I personally wanted Lever as co captain next Max. Really rate his leadership. But yes, it seems there are other who really just simply don't rate Viney as a leader. It feels like Jack's got a lot of work to do if he wants the top gig again.

Old mate would struggle to understand this concept. All not quite right upstairs for him. What you said though was spot. It's testing times indeed. For a lot of families, buying a membership is right now is last on their to do list. With this virus, families will be going into survival mode which means they are reluctant to spend it else where but their families. If people on here have issues with that then they have serious issues inside them. I hope all is well for you @Dee Zephyr.

That wasn't directed at you. Actually read who i wrote it too. You are prone to constantly bait people on here and you get a real kick out of it. Time to start thinking before you posting mate. Yes i am no angel either, but In tough financial times for some, guilt tripping into buying a membership is honestly pathetic. No one knows some are going through right at this minute. It's only going to get worse as well. People with young families would much rather pour money into themselves right now for survival then a football. But that's totally fine right.

DD I am glad this is a joke to you. I've had to bite my tongue on this issue, but because this is all a good laugh to you but i will fill you in on this. My brother has cancer, all my financials is all going towards helping with his medical costs and provide support for not only him but also chipping in to help the family out. Putting in money towards a club that is absolutely no meaning to me regarding my personal life right at this minute. I'm doing weekly trips down to Melbourne Royal hospital which is chewing up money in fuel as well. So I am glad this is a big [censored] joke to you. Next time instead of running your mouth and constantly putting people down on here have a good hard think about people's circumstance on why some are struggling financially. Melbourne membership currently means jack**** to me. True definition of an absolute [censored] oxygen right here. Your obsession of me makes me worried. Tinder might help you get one.

Jeremy Howe Takes Swipe at Dees

Wow.. ok. So next time I see Lever or Gawn drop marks or duck their heads i will know for a fact they absolutely hate playing in their currents positions. Got it. Yeah he does, but according to @MyFavouriteMartian Dunn was traded by Roos because he was part of this week culture that we had lingering. If that was the case, then why didn't Roos do the same for Watts? Only took Goodwin 1 year to realise Watts should have been traded years before that. Roos got rid of Dunn to make way for none other then Oscar McDonald. That was a poor decision.

Jeremy Howe Takes Swipe at Dees

So you have based that on what you see on tv.. right.. So in your initial comment you said "he wanted to play forward, he thought he was too good for defence" so he never directly said that to you did he, or any quotes that he stated . Again, how do you he didn't like that at first? You're just making yourself look silly here by making stuff up.
