Nervous about this game. Geelong had 4 debutants last night and yet they still bullied Collingwood physically. Collingwood had a fair few players who had interrupted pre seasons and last night it showed as a few of them were quite rusty and needed the run in thr legs. I hope that is jit the case today for us...

The penny will drop where at some stafe with Hogan where he will realise how good of a support network he had in Melbourne. Add in also that Nathan Jones played a huge mentoring role for Hogan, and him and Goody were quite close. Only have to hear Goodys press conference of him saying that he has texted him and has the full support of the footy club. Freo have a poor culture and poor leadership. If they are not careful and dont put in the right supporting networks around him he could implode and backfire on them.

The video of the players embracing Goody after the announcement is something i have not seen for a very long time between a player and coach. By looking at that the players have embraced and enjoyed working under him. Theres a special connection in there that i dont think many clubs have. Enjoying this journey Goody is taking us on.
