I have taken that all into account as i like Sam and want to see him succeed. And it's great credit to Mitch Brown. But for us to become a successful club, it's guys like Weideman that needs to stand up now. He's been in the system for 5 years, and player of his ilk should be right now in the best 22 commanding that CHF role. Best way to beat the dogs? Put in a extensive amount of physical pressure on Bont and watch him go to water. His prelim last year was the same. Bont is a good player, but until he deals with this, in no way should he be in the same discussion as Martin, Fyfe, Dangerfields of the game.

Short term would be Jones yes, but i wpuld also rather Tom Sparrow then ANB. I'd rather anyone to be honest.

I think people need to accept the reality that Spargo is going to get a lot of games this year. He tackle, harrasses, and links up well between mid and forward. His Marsh series was actually quite. I would have ahead ANB who is as sloppy as they come, and plays wet weather football every week. Weideman and Lockhart get the last 2 gigs. In fact, i would be immensely surprised if Lockhart misses out.

With Jones and Vandenberg not playing, does that open the door for someone like Tom Sparrow?
