For us to make finals we need the following: - Majority of our whole list to have injury free pre seasons. - The Tom McDonald form of 2018 - Jake Lever and Steven May to play 22 games. - Petracca to play big midfield minutes - McDonald, Weideman, Melksham and Fritsch to all finally play together in the forward line. - Oliver, Brayshaw, Harmes to take their game to another level. They're the key to our midfield. - Pick 2 to make a Jesse Hogan/Jayden Stephenson first year impact. It absolutely can happen. But we need a lot of things to get right.

Welcome back WB.

Isn't it all a coincidence that everyone now has so called 'sources within the club after finishing badly towards the end of the year... Either people love to make [censored] up to suit their own agenda or ego's, or we have a rat within the club thats leaks like a burst cracked pipe.

What a clueless response. Did you have any brilliant fitness gurus that the club should have chased instead? I am also guessing that you emailed the club these names?

A minute to go until half time and langdon is already up to 21 disposals and has kicked 2.0 Do whatever it takes to get him to the Dees!

2019 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
dazzledavey36 replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
The Murray Bushrangers and Dandenong Stingrays went head to head today with the stingrays winning by 21 points. While i love Noah Anderson as my number tip, two of my favourite players in the draft in Lachie Ash and Hayden Young along went head to head against each today. Lachie Ash had 29 disposals 5 marks and 5 tackles playing as a pure on baller. Ash is boasting his draft stocks the past few weeks as he was more renowned as a dashing half back at the start of year and has now since played as a midfielder since the champs. Hayden Young had 21, 3 marks and 6 tackles playing as a half back wingman. Another who has also been given midfield minutes and showing great signs that he can push onto a midfield outside role in years to come. His ball efficiency is one of the best in the draft. -
Wrong. We play a similar game style. Problem is Richmond have the quality of players to suit that game style. We don't.

The 2019 season post mortem thread
dazzledavey36 replied to Delusional demon 82's topic in Melbourne Demons
Cornes is right about Neal Bullen. Melksham was in no way a good of a position to call for the ball. Like Oliver last week, sookisookingwhinging because more worried about getting a touch or a goal himself. -
I thought Josh Wagner and Baker were out of contract this year??

With the VFL side now out of the finals race I wonder when they will announce first official delisting. First thing Monday?

Lol..

You're just working that out now?

It's the same usuals who bask in the constant negativity and tripe. Yep [censored] we've had a [censored] year, but getting someone in the caliber of Alan Richardson as an assistant coachis a huge coup for us. He credited for Port Adelaide rise in 2013 before getting the full time gig in 2014. I have heard people say that ever since he left Port they just never quite got it right due to his huge influence over the group.

This is a fantastic get for the Melbourne football club.

Yep. Adds spped and run. Would easily get a game on a wing for us.

No chance

But Lewis didn't tell him to pull their heads in mate. It was more so around what to expect and to remain composed and low key as possible and not to change anything different. It was all new for them. They wouldn't have known what to expect if Lewis wasn't at the club. This year's results? Yep go your hardest, I have no issues with that. But potting the blokes leading into the finals is just pathetic.
-
You are seriously finding excuses now to pot the players. He sent an email to all the players leading up to the finals to keep everything in check and not get over excited. This was after the West Coast game last year. They needed to be told because no one bar Nathan Jones and Lewis have not experience finals expectation before and it was a whole new territory for them. They needed an experience campaigner like Lewis to share his wealth of knowledge and experience on dealing with expectation. Without Lewis at the club, I reckon there would have been a fair chance Geelong would have knocked us out first final. Easy to pot these blokes when every single player was experiencing something they have never done before.
