  1. Goody in his press conference said they're pretty much playing at Metricon on Saturday.

In one of the Facebook MFC groups that I am in, Jeff's partner voiced her frustration and displeasure on there when Kobe was notified that we wouldn't be picking him up at the start of the year. A few pointed out that sometimes it just comes down to being simply not good enough and on exposed form didn't really show much. Still didn't take it well though. If she felt like that, I wonder how Jeff felt.

Great news which means VFL can now resume. Crucial now that we are heading to finals.
  4. Interesting stat by On Th Couch.
  5. And you have just highlighted Spargo's and Pickett's strengths also. They both use the footy and kick goals. Bedford is poor by foot and doesn't kick enough goals and Chandler barely wins enough of the footy as well.
  6. Pickett averages 12.3 disposal per game. Spargo averages only 11.3 disposals per game.
  7. To be honest our at the G of late has been poor really. Rather play them at Marvel.
  8. Not even sure why we initially signed him up to a 5 year deal..
  9. I just don't think now is the time to be experimenting with players who are still questionable at AFL standard. We should have done this way earlier and I think now we've missed the boat. They're just too inexperienced right now to be bring them in against some quality sides we are coming up against in the next few weeks I've also been hard on Melkshams defensive game, but if he is offering us quality ball use going inside 50 then I'm taking that with both hand.
  10. As @Lord Nev stated, Goody won't drop ANB unfortunately. Goody and the coaches love all the pressure acts and defensive stuff that he brings but he's been woeful and a liability for the past month and a bit. Never seen a player just panick so much and dump kick out of the contest to no man's land. Goody's stubborness as a coach has crept back in.
  11. Chandler and Bedford have shown they are not up to AFL standard. Bedford isn't exactly banging down the door and Chandler is just so so. I'm in the Melksham camp now. We are at the pointy end of the year now and I think experience and hardened bodies is crucial for us. Melksham and Jones would be two I'd look to potentially bring in alongside Jackson. Jackson, Jordon, Rivers.. they've all had a good run. Time for a spell. They need to now earn their spot back like the rest of his teammates have.
  12. I don't think this has actually been confirmed?

I have us finishing 5th. Nothing to do with ladder predictions or anything. Just on exposed form for the past month and a bit, I just simply can't see us turning the switch all of a sudden.
  14. Jeepers Geelong putting on a clinic. There is honestly no weaknesses in their side. Unfortunately I think think they want he flag this year.
  15. Geelong are a good discipline team. Them and Sydney are the benchmark in this aspect.
  16. What a damning stat..
  17. Mate he was woeful last night.
  18. Did I actually say he isn't in the top 10 did I? Please point out where I said Petracca isn't in the top 10 best players in the comp.
  19. 8 weeks in a row now that we've scored more points then goals. The acid needs to seriously be put whoever is in charge of this. Williams? Stafford? Appalling once again.
  20. He got front row tickets to Bontempelli. Here's an out and out superstar where as Petracca isn't.
  21. He's cooked, and has been since the bye.
  22. Murdered is a bit of a stretch.. While the Suns may have gave them a run for their money at least they still won. We on the other hand failed to put away Box Hill last week after being 26 points up. They win games they should win. Turn up, get the job done and move onto the week after. They also have Dunkley, Treloar, Wood, Martin and now Keath to return. They're tracking beautifully.
  23. I must have watched a completely different game because I thought Viney was simply poor once again tonight..
  24. We neither. I've seen enough now to think it'll be Doggies or the Cats who'll win it this year. Good teams simply don't continue to lose to bad teams like Hawthorn, Adelaide and Collingwood.
