NON-MFC: Rd 19 2023
That's actually a big loss for them. The kid has been killing it and has played such an integral role in their midfield.

CASEY: Rd 18 vs Coburg
Couldnt watch the game today. Honest opinions on Grundy as a forward? Was it something that can potentially work at AFL level?

If Tomlinson leaves, I presume we'll target an experienced defender as depth.- PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Adelaide

Here we go again. More rubbish speculation on some unknown dees player who supposedly has zero time for the Demon army. Seriously, who cares. Has nothing to do with this thread. Back on topic, here are a few dot points on what I'm looking forward to this weekend against the Crows • Max going solo again. If he has another game like he did against the Lions then the discussion ramps up again regarding the debate on Grundy's worth in the team • Another week for Brown and JVR to build some cohesion up forward. We really need this forward line humming before finals. • Petracca up forward and the midfield taking care of business without him. • Mcvee match up on Rankine. • Kozzie to hopefully show that he's back in form.- PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Adelaide

Yes the hysteria on here by our very own supporters is actually quiet bizarre. Amazing how some get so easily sucked in by people simply giving their opinions.- Contracted Tomlinson Looks to Move On?
Fair enough too.- Farewell James Jordon

Of course they will..- Farewell James Jordon
@Wilson7 is correct mate. Any player that has previously been delisted automatically fall under restricted free agent. Had Jordon not be delisted then he would need to be traded because you need to be at the club I think max 7-8 before you qualify as a restricted free agent.- Farewell Brodie Grundy
Thanks. Don't understand why certain people get so worked up when there's an article posted whether it's negative or positive.- Farewell James Jordon
He'd absolutely thrive at Sydney. Type of player Longmire loves.- Farewell Brodie Grundy

"He was all for playing the two ruckmen approach. "I wanted his thoughts on it because that was probably the most important one and he's all for it."- Bailey Smith
It's only the past 3-4 weeks he's been shifted onto a wing. He's played majority of his career as an inside mid/wing who uses his two way running power. So like Petracca and Clayton his efficiency by foot is effected by the power of work he does inside and out. I'm not one bit comparing to them as footballers. I'm purely comparing that his poor foot skills gets a bit overblown and compared to Petracca and Oliver they too tend to butch the footy badly. Oliver in particular is one of our biggest ball butchers going inside 50, but no one bats an eye lid because he does everything else great. If you look at his 2021 season when he was a 19/20 year old, his numbers as a midfielder stack up far better then Petraccas and nearly on par with Olivers. We'd be silly not to look at him. He easily gets a game ahead of James Jordon for instance and this would allow Petracca to spend some good quality time at half forward over the next few years. Only 22 years of age and about to play his 100th game in a system (Western Bulldogs) where talent have stalled over the years. His upside is enormous.
