  1. Completely forgot about him.. Really hope we've got the list spot ready to go because all talks seems to lead that we may be able to get him outside the top 40. Rate him highly and adds exactly what we're lacking.
  2. Ok, so you actually don't know do you... All good, was just asking a curious question 👍
  3. Well done to @goodwindeeswho was actually the very first that mentioned this rumour completely out of the blue on here.
  4. He was rules out for the season at that point..?
  5. Nah
  6. Remember at draft camp 2012 when he told Mark Neeld and our recruiting team that we were so [censored] he doesn't want us to pick him.. How times changed. Welcome Brodie! Reckon there was a period there where I genuinely thought he was going to be the next Dean Cox and his career was on the incline towards that. I reckon the contract will be a huge burden off his shoulders and he'll want to prove his worth. Anyone know about his current injury concern? And yes, well done Tim Lamb for actually standing firm.. so worried we were going to trade down to pick 16 but happy we just stood our ground. We had too.
  7. Done!
  8. In fairness I would say Schache has shown more at AFL level then Weid has and even at junior level Schache was more advanced then Weid. Kicked 24 goals off 14 games back in 2018. Either way, I understand your point but I think it's on point in terms of replacing 1 for 1.
  9. If we're losing Weideman then we need some form of forward tall depth.
  10. Yep. After hearing his press conference I'm pretty dirty on him especially after being one of his big supporters on here against people who were having a crack. The fact that he made his decision up so quickly at the mid year break leaves me with an incredibly sour taste in my mouth. On top of getting reamed on the trade deal it's certainly a real bitter feeling. I wish him zero success with Freo.
  11. This sounds pretty horrific doesn't it.........
  12. Losing Kozzie would give me the same feeling when Jeff Farmer left for Freo. Absolutely gutted. We'd be compensated well you'd think but just have to hope we can build a culture that he can see fit long term.
  13. Hawthorn potentially losing Gunston, Mitchell and now O'Meara just reeks of Melbourne of 2013 when we completely gutted our senior heads.
  14. Mate our list management process so far hasn't exactly filled many supporters with great confidence so far. Everything Tim Lamb stated at the start of trade period has gone the complete opposite. So apologies if many are confused by the direction all of a sudden. Still 2 days to go and still confidence we'll add some experienced depth so far. I would hope.
  15. I can't be either but i get your point.
  16. Now watch us hand over pick 13.
  17. I think it has to now come unto consideration.
  18. So he admits that the mid year break he pretty much made his decision.........
  19. Sooo we did our due diligence pre draft right..?
  20. They've got word that those early picks which will be Vic kids, are pretty much flight risks. Trade down is probably the right thing because they now have army access to a couple of WA boys.
  21. Oh dear
  22. Anyway, all the best Jacko. See you at the 10 year reunion.
  23. Hoping we can move into the top 6-7. And just to clarify, before people bite my head off, I love the work Tim Lamb has done to our list and think he's a shrewed operator. Just confused with his communication from the start of trade period to how it's all transpired.
  24. I would hope so. Right now my emotion is disappointed purely the fact that everything Tim Lamb had said from a stern and honest point of view is the opposite to what has happened. Probably why there's a sense of anger and frustration with Melbourne supporters it seem reading social media.
