  1. 13600 was very small
  2. Was never stressed that we were in any danger of losing that one
  3. Yep looks like about 7000 and mainly Melbourne supporters
  4. Doggy Brown and Whopper Walsh charging off the half back line, seems like yesterday
  5. We’d all like Jake to play a great game it’s just on recent evidence it’s not likely…guess he was OK against the Hawks even though that easy set shot he missed in the last qtr annoyed me
  6. Carlton are still well short of our class across the entire field…they could get us on a bad day when they played their absolute best, but I’m confident we would grind them down with our relentless defence and find enough scores to beat them when it really counted.
  7. Gonna be expensive destroying your iPhone
  8. Lot of experience on the list these days, 2 hundred + gamers waiting in the wings to come in
  9. I havent been for a long time but would consider this year, especially if we can embarrass the Cats on their own crap ground
  10. Thursday night in Geelong makes it damn hard for visiting fans to get to
  11. Missed opportunity to give a younger player a go against a bottom 2 side and Melksham hasn’t played a good game for a long time anyway
  12. Don’t really understand why we’d go with the Melk unless it’s to nurse him to 200
  13. Toby is definitely next man in for mine, showed in the Hawks game he is AFL quality
  14. I too would happily burn them to ash then put those same ashes in a rocketship and fire it into the sun: their 5 supporters were among the most derisive of us when they beat us for a decade and a half, payback time
  15. Gee they gave us some smashings there in our wooden spoon era (not surprisingly)….I sat through them all would be nice to return the favour even if it is 8 years later
  16. 12 tackles against the Eagles, big effort!
  17. Most of us have sat through a hell of a lot of losses and believe me they feel nothing at all like wins
  18. This 100% We have a wonderful team chock full of stars the like of which we might not see again in a lot of our lifetimes - enjoy every win! I cant get my head around the minority who whinge either
  19. I agree its important to keep young players flowing through the side no matter how well we are doing and this is the perfect week for a debutant against the youngest side in the comp - we havent had a first gamer since Bowey last year have we?
  20. He's worth a good contract but we shouldn't completely throw our TPP structure out of whack to retain him....our recruiters are the best in the league, I'm confident we would do very well with high drafts picks received in a trade.
  21. Our side seems to abhor losses with a passion I haven't ever seen from a Melbourne team (or few others) before - we find a way to win even when we aren't playing all that well, cant see us dropping a game to battling North this week
  22. Glad we put the foot down in the last quarter and turned a boring 40 point win into 70+
  23. Midfield could break all records for possession this week
  24. Almost no point playing this match, award us the W, let the boys have a beer and come home
  25. I’m old but I dont go that far back!
