  1. We are one of the only teams I've seen that can lead by a relatively small margin (3-4 goals) and be in no danger of losing whatsoever
  2. Just engrave the cup for us, season done
  3. Haha no I do carry on from up in the RedLegs for home games but yesterday I didn’t feel like making a big fuss, game some jerk North supporters a quiet bit of curry that’s about it
  4. Cmon Hawks
  5. Wasn’t much point us Melbourne supporters making much noise when we couldn’t lose, bit of polite applause was all that was required!
  6. The crowd was pathetic but I was there and it was 70-30 our way, North fans have completely dropped off
  7. Everyone does it but you can’t extrapolate because we only beat (A) by how much we will then lose to (B).
  8. We haven’t managed to lose to anyone yet that would be a fair effort!
  9. 100% agree and was going to comment similar - people think we are just going to turn up play Harlem Globetrotters football and win by 15 goals every week. North scrapped extremely hard yesterday and that coupled with playing on that shifting Marvel surface made the game a real slog. We also lost our best runner and key to our ball movement in the first 10 minutes of the match, yet adapted to all that to still win easily. Not sure what everyone expects, saying we will get a wake up call against Carlton etc cmon?? St Kilda were meant to be a big wake call and that game was effectively over at quarter time.
  10. Melk doesn’t get involved in the play enough, we’ve gone well past playing passengers in the team I would have thought
  11. That ground is a nightmare for the players like a skating rink…injuries seem to happen a lot more often there too glad we aren’t running out on it too often.
  12. 13600 was very small
  13. Was never stressed that we were in any danger of losing that one
  14. Yep looks like about 7000 and mainly Melbourne supporters
  15. Doggy Brown and Whopper Walsh charging off the half back line, seems like yesterday
  16. We’d all like Jake to play a great game it’s just on recent evidence it’s not likely…guess he was OK against the Hawks even though that easy set shot he missed in the last qtr annoyed me
  17. Carlton are still well short of our class across the entire field…they could get us on a bad day when they played their absolute best, but I’m confident we would grind them down with our relentless defence and find enough scores to beat them when it really counted.
  18. Gonna be expensive destroying your iPhone
  19. Lot of experience on the list these days, 2 hundred + gamers waiting in the wings to come in
  20. I havent been for a long time but would consider this year, especially if we can embarrass the Cats on their own crap ground
  21. Thursday night in Geelong makes it damn hard for visiting fans to get to
  22. Missed opportunity to give a younger player a go against a bottom 2 side and Melksham hasn’t played a good game for a long time anyway
  23. Don’t really understand why we’d go with the Melk unless it’s to nurse him to 200
  24. Toby is definitely next man in for mine, showed in the Hawks game he is AFL quality
  25. I too would happily burn them to ash then put those same ashes in a rocketship and fire it into the sun: their 5 supporters were among the most derisive of us when they beat us for a decade and a half, payback time
