  1. It’s offical we can breathe again 4-6 weeks
  2. We don’t need to win every match either..:halfway point at around 7-5 would be fine as long as we have plenty in the tank for the rest of the season
  3. Please be right and just a medial….even if he’s out until the bye we can cope with that
  4. Agree doesn’t look good but we can’t toss the whole year in….I can think of 3 clubs off the top of my head who won flags when they lost a vital player for the year with an ACL (Port 2004, Bulldogs 2016, Tigers 2019) Let’s hope for the best though
  5. Brutal competition, we’re not just going to waltz through the year without drama…bad night for the boys but we will reload and go again next week
  6. Haven’t been smashed like this in a while…just have to take the L and move on sadly
  7. Losing to a team that has Hipwood and Daniher as their key forwards would make me puke…impossible to find two flakier players
  8. Need to bash them up in the midfield, last week they looked soft in there despite the big names they have
  9. Imagine the build up a GF against the Pies though the city would be in a frenzy....much more epic than playing Gold Coast, Freo or even a smaller Vic club
  10. TMac is one of those players that will need to be managed and probably have a couple of games rest throughout the season I don’t think we can expect him to play every week
  11. The punters must like us at $2 as we're currently into $1.80 as favourites with the bookies....not that it means anything in terms of what happens on the field but we do seem to play very well at the Gabba
  12. Definitely wouldn’t risk May for the trip to QLD when Tommo did such a great job…get that calf/hammy 100% right
  13. 100% this is a generational team people of my age (45) may not see again so we need at least another flag
  14. Loving our attacking style of footy when we get that run going we look super dangerous like 2021 again
  15. We look more dynamic on the fast break but they are very good in close with those quick hands…be a close contest all night I reckon
  16. Looks windy out there flags whipping around…hopefully doesn’t help their giant forward line
  17. Demons by 3 points in a sphincter tightener
  18. We need early 2021 Tommo ….remember that game Hawkins smashes Maysie in the face and put him out of action, from memory we rolled Tommo onto him he did a great job and we won comfortably
  19. Great to see some new blood in the side best of luck to Judd and Bill!
  20. Luckily the Bulldogs haven't got any tall forwards....wait what?
  21. Makes sense to not drive guys who aren't quite right as we did last season - a change from the Darren Burgess run them into the ground philosophy (which worked great in 2021 admittedly)
  22. Its a long season and I very much doubt TMac and BBB at 30+ will be right to play all 22 games + finals (hopefully)...so we will need Josh at some stage
  23. Will be a tough match as it usually is against the Dawgs (post bang bang bang in the '21 GF aside!)....they are a bit of an unknown quantity to me lots of talls and a strong midfield but how many of those talls are proven performers in big games? Jones, Lobb im not too sure and the rest are pretty young. Have to make sure the Bont and Naughton don't completely dominate and we should be OK.
  24. Pleased we’ve worked on greater midfield rotations and variety this pre season: at times last year we looked stale in there and went to the well with the same group too much. Interesting that Ooze admitted that part of our drop off was the midfield group getting tired as the season went on too.
