  1. ā€œIf the 8 half decent players WC have left play like it’s 2018, all the unheard of WAFL guys are on peptides and the entire Melbourne side have covid x bird flu, I think the Eagles can get it doneā€.
  2. We’re playing a WAFL side with a couple of super rules players….Melbourne by 150+
  3. Belting Gold Coast by nearly 100 last year really got our attacking game going, next 2 weeks the perfect opportunity for the the forward to cash in and get their confidence up
  4. Should win this by 80+ looking at the 2 sides on paper
  5. Angus should be stripped of his Melbourne Premiership medallion if he ever goes to Carlton! (only half joking)
  6. The way the Eagles have played they haven’t earned much respect this season: we really should be flogging this very weak looking line up

Billy Birmingham (the 12th man) wrote Australiana for Austen Tayshus I wonder if he had his fingerprints all over this one too?
  8. We could have more fans than West Coast there this week based on how they’re travelling!
  9. Great player, leader and ambassador for our club he speaks so well. At his peak at age 30 as well I reckon he could be one of those guys still playing top footy at 34, plenty left in the tank

Exactly. We could play the next two games with no ruck and still smash the 2 bottom sides
  11. Shuey and Yeo looked cooked, WC would be better off playing WAFL mids

It is interesting we have insurance players like Maj and Mitch Brown who are probably good enough to play at least some senior footy this year, but are at a club where it’s unlikely to happen unless we really get smashed with injury or covid. Even Luke Dunstan is pretty unlucky he can play a strong role but no spot for him.

I think both Max and Dogga would have to be out for Majak to get a chance at seniors

Certainly not worth taking the risk to Perth the Weid can come in to give Jacko a hand in the ruck
  15. fair enough like a psychological pillow for the pain of losing - I would feel too dirty taking the cash on us losing thought! I reckon once you're on a good thing stick to it hence my Winx example I loved that horse - $1.10 a time easiest 10% ROI in the world better than bank interest - Dees are a similar proposition at the moment can make 20-30% on a certain win pays for after match drinks or whatever
  16. haha like laying Winx, you would have been better off putting $100 on us to win in round 1 and letting it ride into each week
  17. Ross was driving me spare was listing to MMM while I was at the match he kept referring to us being 19 points down in the GF and being "gettable"....um dont mention the fact we won the flag by 12 goals and no one has "got" us since!
  18. Betting against our 8-0 side I can’t believe that! At what point do you decide you’re throwing money down the toilet
  19. Have West Coast ever been $19 in the head to head betting in Perth before! Unprecedented times
  20. Not a bad idea to manage anyone who is a bit too sore this week, Worst Coast are at their lowest ebb and we love playing at Optus Stadium so whatever team we send out there is going to get the job done pretty easily you’d imagine
  21. Very enjoyable afternoon at the G, just have to soak up this amazing team as we won’t see another group of players this talented all together for a long time…wasn’t a weak link in the side today everyone has mastered their role
  22. Not sure Alistair Clarkson would be doing much better with North’s current list, reminds me of us in about 2013, a bunch of kids who aren’t ready for the brutal realities of league footy week to week with no senior players to guide them…
  23. Really makes you appreciate the quality we have on our list when players the calibre of Jack Viney, Ed Langdon and Angus Brayshaw are secondary stars, in any other Melbourne era in my 45 years supporting we would have been very happy with them as the main men!

One thing I am not understanding is if our pressure acts and team defence are much worse than last year how come no one can score against us? Still the best defence in the league perhaps we've got them all so mesmerised we dont even have to try that hard anymore!
  25. Been a great workhorse forward running his guts out every week since being moved there (he gave me nightmares with his decision making as a defender): I think an underrated player in some ways playing in a very tough position on the field, not every tall forward is a superstar you need a grunt player there too at times. Well done to Tmac for being a 200 game premiership player!
