  1. 6- Gawn ( dominated as expected) 5 - Oliver ( outstanding first half) 4 - Jones ( not as clean as normal but regularly got the hard balls) 3 - Fritsch ( getting closer to last year’s superlative form) 2 - Frost ( I no longer hold my breath when he has the ball) 1 - Viney ( trying to do the impossible too often but he at least he persists)
  2. Jones - always looked likely Viney - determination belied value Gawn - dominated without completion Stretch - made little impression O. McDonald - embarrassing and costly T. McDonald - not on field Frost - valuable and safe Smith - had some value Hibberd - unfit and unsure Baker - calm and composed Hunt - didn’t take chances Oliver - lost his way Brayshaw - only a shadow Harmes - failed to impose Spargo - shaking my head Weideman - unsighted before miss Petracca - enigmatic and disappointing Kennedy-Harris - an impressive return Fritsch - season’s best game Garlett - just a cameo Wagner - was rarely noticed Hannan - will be better
  3. The photo flattered him?
  4. Jones - failed to inspire Viney - little to excite Gawn - our only winner Harmes - couldn’t impose himself J. Wagner - tried but lacking Petracca - irrelevant 3 quarters Stretch - selection defies logic Brayshaw - devoid of confidence Hore - played with purpose Baker - showed promise again Smith - had no impact Fritsch - floated through game Oliver - was comprehensively beaten Spargo - couldn’t justify selection T. McDonald - had no presence C.Wagner - played without purpose Lockhart - out of depth Frost - all at sea Hunt - a disappearing act O. McDonald - making up numbers Petty - out of depth
  5. Easy to say after the event that the game was lost at the selection table
  6. For the record I didn’t use the words ‘not our worst’ to describe O.Mac’s game.. please get your facts right
  7. 6 - Gawn ( tireless and dominant all game ) 5 - Hunt ( emerging as a forward weapon ) 4 - Harmes ( was consistently at the coal face with grunt and vigour) 3 - Frost ( tackle of the year ) 2 - Oliver ( for weight of possessions rather than effectiveness) 1 - Hore ( we’ve found one )
  8. Jones - slowing but effective Viney - little spacial awareness Gawn - an outstanding game Oliver - few clean disposals Harmes - great first half Hunt - some impressive cameos Garlett - goals but wasteful Petracca - hugely wasteful performance Salem - rarely disposed effectively Stretch - momentum killer again Brayshaw - lost on flank T.McDonald - ten minute game Frost - confident but costly Hore - endeavour and composure O.McDonald - a serviceable game Wagner - jittery with ball Smith - little to enthuse Lockhart - was rarely sighted Neal-Bullen - average before injury Petty - was not disgraced Fritsch - devoid of awareness Baker - overawed but promising
  9. Jones - dynamic all game Viney - take first options Oliver - dominant and tireless Harmes - incredible first quarter Melksham - dangerous but curtailed Salem - was all class Lockhart - clever but limited Gawn - dominant when required Petracca - always looked likely Hore - season saving goal Frost - played with purpose Brayshaw - mistake ridden performance Stretch - continued slowing momentum Lewis - won’t be missed Fritsch - disappeared too often T. McDonald - provided a target Hunt - just some cameos Wagner - didn’t imbue confidence Garlett - regularly fumbled ball Keilty - had little influence Hibberd - great before injury O.McDonald - devoid of confidence
  10. I’m impressed how he actually composed himself before kicking
  11. Jones - great second half Lewis - yin and yang Frost - confident and important O McDonald - played his part Harmes - outstanding all game T McDonald - just a shadow Gawn - dominant all day Hibberd - reminiscent of old Lockart - provided some spark Salem - steady and brave Oliver - fewer dumb passes Hore - slow but clever Melksham - not his best Neal-Bullen - little to enthuse Stretch - tried but limited Hunt - excellent forward pressure Brayshaw - limited on wing Fritsch - some important cameos Wagner - was rarely noticed Petracca - failed to impose Garlett - game winning tackle Keilty - some impressive involvement
  12. And who do you suggest should assume the role of CHF when Weideman is demoted? Keilty is not the answer
  13. Am I alone in being amazed that nothing has been made of Martin’s dangerous throw of Hibberd to the ground and subsequent elbow to the head, not once but twice when Hibberd was lying dazed on the ground?
  14. 6 - Gawn (easily our best and the hardest trier) 5 - Salem ( classy despite most others being so inept in defense) 4 - McDonald ( held the competition’s best forward to 3 possessions and 1 goal) 3 - Hore ( showed unDemonlike promise ) 2 - Hibberd ( blanketed the dangerous Martin effectively) 1 - Melksham ( disposals were effective and advantageous)
  15. Jones - was embarrassingly inept Viney - rarely found teammates Gawn - dominated the centre Oliver - many meaningless possessions Brayshaw - same as Oliver Melksham - showed some composure Stretch - a momentum killer Salem - steady and skilled Harmes - showed little sparkle Hore - still learning craft Lewis - painful to watch Neal-Bullen - not a forward McDonald - looked more comfortable Frost - 3 excellent quarters Fritsch - no second efforts Smith - just a plodder Garlett - failed to impress Petracca - disappointing yet again Hibberd - impressive new role Lockhart - was rarely sighted Weideman - inept and unsighted Hunt - not a forward
  16. McDonald has to go forward this quarter... no point trying to reduce a loss
  17. Couldn’t be bothered
  18. Petracca eating pizza at 1/2 time?‍♂️
  19. Spargo is a primary schoolboy Petracca is a prima Donna Melksham is useless McDonald is unsighted Weideman is hopeless The Wagners are amateurs Jetta and Hibberd are liabilities Lewis is dumb
  20. Yes, but name a better player??‍♂️
  21. Not saying much but ANB was clearly our best player today
  22. Lewis and Jetta are probably the 2 slowest players on our list, other than our ruckmen It would be suicide to bring them both in against one of the quickest sides in the competition
  23. Not sure why there’s so much vindictiveness here towards roaming Brian, I found it entertaining and informative
