Hogan 2 weeks, Lewis 1. Stupid form both players!

Understand that but I would expect them to run back, not jog. Too many were jogging.

Thought Hannon did very well at times, especially in the last. Oliver is a gun, Watts stood up when needed, as did Jones and to a lesser extent Viney. Jetta is a dead set gun. The mac Bros were solid. Jeffy has found his chase again, has started the year very well. Harmes also stood up when needed and Salem showed what we have seen glimpses of for the last few years.

Lost count of the number of times we were found out with their spread with players jogging to position. They clearly ran harder from the view on telly.

They wanted it more, ran more all day, and tried everything they had. We looked lazy, overused the ball, and didn't run for the first three quarters. One of the worst display I have seen in a while. We still won! We finally played badly in a game we should win and managed to win. Hopefully it keeps up!

Watched for 5 minutes and saw two clear 50's not paid to the Lions and every possible free paid to the dons, switched over to the saints game.

The dogs really do get a great ride from the umps. Throw it, drop it, push people in the back, etc etc, no matter the situation they seem to be on the right side of it.

The stats for the mac brothers are actually pretty good. They both look awkward kicking a ball and I think fall victim to the fact their mistakes cost goals whereas further up the ground they don't so much. Both can certainly improve but they aren't as bad as it is made out.

Happy with a week deserves it and at least he actually made contact this time, unlike last year where he got a week for almost hitting someone. The week is a joke though when compared to Varcoe, he should get 2 minimum but probably 3.

Not really. Goodwin in his presser said he didn't change anything at quarter time, he just reminder the players about the game he wanted them to play and to get back to playing it. He actually just reinforced plan A.

As a kid of the 80's I hate Hawthorn, always have and always will. They are my main rival, with the drug cheats not far behind. I am just hoping they drop off the face of the planet and we smash them for the next decade.

I actually couldn't give a toss about illicit drug use and playing. The illicit drugs that are performance enhancing are banned by WADA, and the other do nothing for your performance. The issue here is that the AFL spend a whole lot of money testing for illicit drugs, many of which are banned by WADA, but they don't share the results with ASADA. Basically the AFL could very well be hiding the use of illicit drugs which are performance enhancing under the guise that it is a 'societal issue'. It is about time the AFl grew the hell up and expected from their athletes the same standard we expect from teenagers in every Olympic sport.

I like the approach for the reasons you have said as well, more of a mate to mate chat. Not sure I would have done while playing with two other people though, especially two other players! All seems to have worked out fine and he would know the relationships better than us but I would have been very cautious of giving the news in front of two colleagues.
