  1. In MFCSS world, then, you were both impressively 'out there'!
  2. There's lots of speculation on other threads, Faulty! But the cockiness of supremacy always threatens - as is the case here - to lead to frivolity. For my part, I apologise. Nah. Just joking.
  3. You're all dodging around something. You know, that mammal in the room?
  4. It's a shame the Suns are there (maybe they can have a late-season win when we're 3 or 4 games clear on top): a '9' with 'Geelong' next to it, in about 2024, will be nice...
  5. I think the Commodore may have dreamt it? Over to you to interpret, WCW.
  6. Give my regards to 57 and 64 on the way through (in fact the 50s and early 60s generally I hope are rewarding for you!) And be sure to post your consulting hours when you finish, Doctor.
  7. We see you've managed to come up for the air of various other threads, so we assume you to be OK. But when you're back in this briny on your Special Hunt, could you also keep an eye out for The Origin of the Bananas, please.
  8. Twice in the same thread, for two totally different whatever-we-decided-to-call-thems! Who woulda thunk it?
  9. Indeed. If they did move over, or are yet to (has anyone heard one way or the other, or the other?) wasn't the notice of / discussion about them doing so very soon after he was drafted, which wouldn't seem to correlate with 'issues', which you'd imagine would come up over time?
  10. Mods, can we change 'underway' to 'NOT finalised' until they are? I keep coming in with an expectation of movement (and in the right direction!) 😏
  11. That hair! Fritter on the slide.
  12. What we've got here is a failure to communicate... 😉
  13. We'll done, you two: AFLCA votes had Sarah Lampard high up. As a spectator, it's not always easy to appreciate a back's game.
  14. Missed an appointment last Wednesday, @leave it to deever?😉
  15. And now done. Paxman's game better than I thought, just wilted towards the end? Lots of HMs - Heath, Goldrick, Zanker, Colvin, Hore, general-on-the-field D.Pearce, etc, and I reckon some of Fitzsimon's efforts might be credited to Hanks?😉, but I'll go with 5. L.Pearce 4. T.Hanks 3. L.Birch 2. K.Paxman 1. T.Harris
  16. Though I was there, I'm afraid I can't vote faithfully. Missed 1st quarter (see game day thread) and stood where full game appreciation is difficult - at true ground level, almost below most of the field's level, and mainly at north-end (scoring end and building shade) 'Grandstand' inaccessible, eastern wing 'stand' looking into the sun and heat. I'll watch the replay and will post then if that's acceptable and timely.
  17. And the girls' '1964' ('9.10.64') final score reminiscent of Gus's grasp of the never-again-to-be-surrendered lead that hallowed day.
  18. p.s. It was interesting finally being somewhere that you realised no-one was going to engage you in conversation because of your Dees apparel!
  19. 3 straight at the southern end; the problem was at the northern end. I stood in the shadow of the Big Black Box and the wind really swirls in that pocket. Also, many of the shots, partic in the 2nd, were from a distance or tight. 1.5 in the 2nd quarter was somewhat rectified to 6.5 in the 4th. So not 'backwards' from 2021, but room for improvement. Per my earlier post, some 'footy intelligence' 'learnings' to be had?
  20. No doubt. But seemed a bigger crowd than any mens 'twos' game I've been to. Car park sure told a story.
  21. Harris: Round , 1 goal; Round 2, 2 goals; Round 3, 3 goals... Paxy, lots of tissues, yes, but pretty low on effectiveness this week. Right week to have a 'lapse' (as it turned out...)
  22. Seemed a pretty good local attendance here today!
  23. Floodgates. Saints not disgraced. Scoreline flatters. We managed to force the ball into the forward line and individual skills then delivered, rather than much system.
