  1. Scoring pattern: deja vu all over again...😉
  2. Just arrived here to the eerie silence, as Bannan being helped off in rather a knee-like manner... Yes, 🫰
  3. Where do we sit on the 'worst kicking year' (behinds to goals) table? Must be close to #1...
  4. Sandringham line surprisingly said otherwise!
  5. Was that you on the big screen @WalkingCivilWar?? 👏
  6. Don't leave it there, then, BA! 😲
  7. Which is the real @layzie?! Post 23,970 (🤓) or 23,972 (🤮)??
  8. We'll be up behind the DA helping with The Noyz, @buck_nekkid, though I'm taking a similar attitude to the game as you, @layzie: to watch it and enjoy it as a game of footy being played by my team, with as little eye on the end result as I can muster. While the best that can happen will be so great to experience, the worst that can happen is the boys will be there to watch and enjoy again in 6 months' time (with the girls, for ditto, in much of the meantime, btw!) Get too caught up in end results and I miss too much of the watch and enjoy. Now, off to practice... MEL-BOURNE! 👏👏👏!
  9. Can't find this reported anywhere, Kat. Is any basis provided? Actual instances? Learned report?
  10. So I can bring my petanque set still, too?
  11. I know, Mate; it's what I did each time I strayed into any number of this week's threads! I continue to feel wretched... (Sorry, BM; just trying to lighten the room. It's OK; I see the door...)
  12. Can we just get to the hearing? Please?
  13. Swans 9.14 after their 7.14 against us, vs 11.8 and 11.11, too: now that's terminal bad kicking. We at least have the chance to make amends...
  14. And another thing: Kudos to those 'Landers who, going into last night, had (and hopefully still have!) the 'We got this' mindset. But for the kicking, they were right! The rest of us, in our MFCSS mindsets, 'project', assuming the players, coaches, etc, feel how we feel and that situations are as we see them. That won't actually be how it is for them.
  15. 'Bombing it in, bombing it in, bombing it in'! Ease up. Someone with more persistence than me could do an analysis of how many 'chaos kicks' from forward of centre into the fifty by Collingwood became scores. They seemed pretty common, at our (Punt Road) end at least. No problems for Collingwood, then (side note: that did worry me in terms of our defensive structure and response). So, is it method of entry or response when it gets there? The difference last night between a win and a loss - all that matters in a final - gets back to the kicking when it got there: 3 of our 11 behinds (incl 2 posters) and 3+OOB become goals and we win.
  16. ...to which I add: Since we got our 'radar' back in Rd17 and before last night (109.80), 7.11 and at least 3 out on the full becomes 11.8, 10.9.
  17. ...which would have won last night's game. Just saying.
  18. Real name revealed at last! Frank.
  19. Curious that so much football has got onto here. And seemingly triggered by there being 'no football' out there. @DeelightfulPlay, I did try to do my bit; I went looking to see if Aunty Donna did a banana sketch. They do. Shall we say, they've come quite a way since then...
  20. I feel you're all really hanging out for the answer [insert Sarcasm emoji]. Well, in the end-of-H&A-into-finals seasons, as we're now in, they got a stretch of suspension, generally for being 'handy' (👊), causing them to miss finals. Messrs Lloyd and Fletcher won leadership for being suspended twice, with Lloyd achieving seniority for his longer combined stretch.
  21. What he is is Sam Stynes' husband. Bit of Demon royalty there! He, David Rennick and Kate Roffey make a powerful combo at any table where our future base is being planned or negotiated.
  22. Would they have worked it out yet? Lot of research to catch up on.
