  1. Pipped by the Anglesea SLSC (deserved recognition, including on behalf of all the SLSCs and LSCs). However, this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://sport.vic.gov.au/news/articles/neale-daniher-ao-recipient-of-2022-outstanding-contribution-to-victorian-sport-award%23:~:text%3DNeale%20Daniher%20AO%20recipient%20of%202022%20Outstanding%20Contribution%20to%20Victorian%20Sport%20Award,-Share%20this%20page%26text%3DCongratulations%20to%20football%20legend%20and,Contribution%20to%20Victorian%20Sport%20Award.&ved=2ahUKEwiF3tzg79D_AhWds1YBHQXtA6cQFnoECAwQBQ&usg=AOvVaw0Y36Fj8E4emUShLArkz0AN
  2. (Look away now, @Bitter but optimistic...) Must be a generational thing, then, gentlemen: I'm in, too. Do you do it with milk? Guilty pleasure!
  3. Emeritus membership of the winners' circle for you then, layz 😊 And y'all come back now, y'hear?
  4. And the 'Wiki' again: Mike Collins (61-62)
  5. Yep; 1 handball in 40% game time on debut! And some more, thanks to Demonwiki: Tony Dullard could also have captained. Troy Broadbridge kicked a behind but received a 50 and goaled with the re-kick.
  6. ...once the 4 Kardinia Park points have been secured and there's another longish hiatus suited to such distraction! 🙂
  7. ...well, initially anyway.
  8. Amended. Sorry. Indeed I did; couldn't remember the issue last time. Re-PM-ing now.
  9. Did you see my first try, Mr Stone?
  10. Probably commissioned and 'in the can' before Monday, but good fun, and a nice reminder to continue that momentum, supporting our World Champeen Demon Army! And the Boys, of course! https://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/1358380/pump-up-the-volume?videoId=1358380&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1686812220001
  11. Knock, knock! Who's there? Your neighbour!
  12. It was there, DL! Shun article on Saints wanting a 'blockbuster' home game at 'G (from) next year. Had a 'looking for suitors' feel to it.
  13. Sorry to everyone re the thread title!😬
  14. ...Reckon we might get them twice next year.
  15. Get on the phone, Gary?
  16. I posted elsewhere the credit MBJMcV had given Salo, in an ABC WA Regional interview (which the AFL seems to have 'mined' incidentally!😄) Nice to have two of that ilk - and ✅ to the Alan Johnson comparison, @Theo! Have another look, too (it's taken a few to make sure I wasn't imagining it!) at the passage leading to the Rooy goal: after Judd loses control of the ball and is falling to the ground, he can still tap the ball back into Jack's path. Composure.
  17. Nor, in the great tradition of these ads, the pictures...
  18. Requires him to get to 412. At 200 from 121 so far, that's around 250 games, which, at his current rate of game accumulation (debut R1, 2018) will be round about the 2028 granny, when he will be - very appropriately - 31. Then a mere 17 more will take him onto the podium, past Robbo, in third place. He won't catch Neita or the Red Fox, though.
  19. 95%+ of the time I reckon you nail it, @Demonland, and this week's is a very strong contender - particularly for the nature, and intense emotion, of Fritta's celebration. However, this week, I reckon Jack's blind turn, spot-up of Rooey, and delivery to him, pipped Fritta (and there'd be extra points in including MBJMcV's lead-up work, Jack's recovery of the situation, and the expression on Rooey's face as he took the kick!) What say, for extra community participation 'going forward', you select, say, 3 vids for voting? And, at the end of the year, 3 vids for Video of the Year?
  20. (G'day, Tim2!😄) Yeah, noticed that! There was a nanosecond of hesitation, but then he did that bounce-stepping thing into the confrontation. I reckon that's a primal thing, both giving the stepper confidence and adding to the threat being directed. He's a confident lad, that one: ref. his smirk, referred to elsewhere here, during his approach to his goal. All positively Roo-tiful!
