Hard to watch with the umpiring in this game.
-
Was a joke of a free kick but evened up for the soft one Bailey Scott got for his goal just before it.
-
Yet they are every chance of winning.
-
He probably saw Richmond get a ridiculous free kick against Mills last week. I wouldn't blame the players.
-
Happy with that change. Welcome back Chunk.
-
I'll be interested to see how they go against Neale this week. I think he has been the best performed player this year with Trac probably just behind.
-
The game he got 7 coaches votes in? If you look at the coaches votes leaderboard and take into account we have missed a game, it's not hard to see why there is hype.

We all love Oliver, that's a given. However, he still has many issues he needs to tidy up. Featured in a segment on On The Couch last night alongside the Crouch brothers, Mcgrath and O'meera as one of the top 50 posession getters in the league with the lowest score involvements this season. He can and needs to improve significantly for us to be a good team.

I was waiting for a big turnover for a goal but didn't come. I remember one horrific kick that somehow stayed in and ended up getting marked by a hawks player (I think Michington) but other than that he was pretty good.

He didn't have a great game but he wasn't hopeless. You are ignoring the good work he has done. His disposal was sloppy at times. You are also going after posters for questioning Oliver who again had very average disposal in this game. Brayshaw is not a great wingman but he is clearly better than anything else we have available. You know he will go when it is his turn and you back him to win a 50-50, like against O'Meara in the centre. He is playing a sacrificial role for the benefit of the team and I don't think you get the full picture on a tv screen.

Rowan Marshall isn't going anywhere.
-
Definitely an improvement from Oliver, but that handball to Max was a shocker.
-
Assume Neale is one and he has been the best player in the comp this year by a distance.
-
Great win, strangled them and they could never get going. Loved Weideman's play on the wing, got a hospital handball from a teammate and made the ball his goal while Stratton went for the cheap hit. Took a lot of guts.

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)

About as relevant as Ross Lyon. Weightman was well discussed here prior to the draft and naturally we all have an interest in seeing how his career plays out. -

Was just making sure he was fulfilling Toby McLean's Role. -
He has looked ok but Pickett's debut was every bit as good. You clearly have a short memory.
-
Came here expecting this and there we go. Assuming it's a joke.
-
Mainly CHB but he did have a small stint forward before ending in the ruck last weekend.
-
Definitely, we got a bit lucky with some turnovers from the Gold Coast for our goals which had little to do with our pressure and more just errors on their end. Still need to show a lot of improvement coming inside 50 and getting value for our entries.

TMac in doubt, didn't/couldn't train at the indoor session yesterday.

Dees to take all fit players to Hub

I think one of the shows last night said all the teams players in Melbourne currently, that are coming up will be quarantining at the same hotel in qld. -
For every Hawkins you could find 20 other key position players with similar outputs in their first few years. The very special talls show it from day one with glimpses. I don't see it with Weideman. This Weideman talk has been going on for the last 3 years now and it drives me nuts. I hope he does well but his poor agility and lack of ground level game will always hold him back. I've mentioned it before but he has shown the least (maybe on par with Schache) out of all the talls from the first round in his draft. Most of them are also struggling this season but he has still shown the least. Hipwood, Curnow, McKay, Himmelberg, Weitering and Schache.

Was a trash game, and in such a low scoring game hard to believe the free kick for Richmond's first goal. Would be spewing.

He was serviceable. Kicking straight made a big difference as he was out marked and failed to make a contest on too many occasions. When he does contest and split packs it looks great but doesn't do it often enough. People saying he needs to play the rest of the year based on that performance are kidding themselves. He has earned his game next week and that's it at this stage.
