CHANGES: Rd 14 vs St Kilda
I actually didn't interpret the press conference that he will back in this week specifically but given the social media team has gone with it, it must be happening.

NON MFC: Round 13
Based on what? They've been one of the more consistent teams this year.

NON MFC: Round 13
Was that not a clear 50? They are praising the umpire for not paying it?

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Western Bulldogs
No I am not kidding. Melksham kicking into the man on the mark 20m out, giving away a stupid 50, missing other goals. Fristch kicking on the full from 30 meters out and missing a couple of others and trying to get Melskham knocked out with a ridiculous pass. Not to mention how easily they could move the ball from kick outs which wouldn't have occurred without missing these easy goals. We were outplayed yet right in the game.

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
Hardwick has become my least favourite coach bringing what those dirty flogs did in the 2000 grand final into this.

The 2020 Trade Period
They won't be doing it if Crouch is leaving as it would dilute their compensation so can't see this happening. If Crouch stays the last thing you want is Viney joining the Crouch brothers in the midfield.

NON MFC: Round 12
They are missing probably 12 of their best 22 including most of their goal kicking power. They did well to limit the damage despite playing so poorly.

Sam Weideman
I have been very critical of Weideman and this was probably the most impressive game he has played for me. Darcy Moore is having a great season and always is a factor with his intercepting. Weideman was able to contest everything against him and would have had a third goal if Vandanberg could hit a 15 meter pass. Still needs to engage the body before launching at the ball to create separation but very happy to look like I got this one wrong.

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
He had a mixed game but honestly can't understand how he missed that pass to Weideman in the last quarter, it will be overlooked by many here because we won and it still resulted in a Fritsch goal. There would not be an easier kick to hit and he missed by 5 meters.

Demons in Top 4?
We aren't actually one win behind the pace though. West Coast are one win ahead of us but have played one less game than us. Would be very tough to make top 4 from here.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Even though Sparrow hasn't done anything wrong and is tracking along nicely, I would have left him out and kept Hannan in for team balance.

TEAMS: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
Called the Stephenson out earlier in the other thread, is having a shocking season and has been a liability with his inability to contest. Stephenson has kicked 3 goals in the last 6 weeks and 2 of them were from Adelaide kicking the ball straight to him.

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
He has been awful since the first couple of games he returned for. Consistently loses contests. Got 2 goals against Adelaide and they were both from Adelaide players hitting him up. Will be lucky to keep his place in their team with Elliot returning.

Max Gawn Ruled Out vs Pies
I'm gonna vote for Vandanberg into the ruck and put up a token contest and we rove to Grundy or the times he goes to grab it out, Vandenberg just nails him in tackles.

NON MFC: Round 11
It's a tough one if you don't know how long is left and you kick a point, you risk the other team going up the other end and stealing the game.

Jason Taylor
Don't know about that. Think there would have been a mixed reaction similar to Tomlinson.

Jason Taylor
It was a three-way and Varcoe left Geelong. There was a clear winner in this three-way trade. Not related to Taylor.

Jason Taylor
Fair enough. I was specifically talking about the players included on the previous list and not all of Taylor's work. For instance, I don't think anyone thinks it was amazing of him to pick up Petracca and then a player like Salem I see as a solid pick up and nothing to be overly enthusiastic about given the trade we made and what was also available. I can just remember all the threads talking our dynasty years ago with the players that were mentioned in the previous post and now they are being dismissed as bad picks.

Sorry but everyone here would have been sharing the same optimism about those pickups at this stage of there careers. Oliver is his standout, the jury is either out on the rest or I could have picked them from my couch. I don't know why you have included Viney considering he was drafted with Toumpas by his old man. We are a mid range team and he has had some major assets to work with. Taylor has done some nice things but I don't share the over the top optimism on the back of beating two of the worst football teams to ever take the field.
