  1. Yes please. I find Roos' views on this strange (with his Buddy article) given he was always using it as an excuse (reason) last year. Also had to have a laugh when he tried to say we had great depth and grouped us with GWS.
  2. Not much to get excited about there. Stretch is the only one I would actually want in the team.
  3. I was not at the game so hard for me to comment but the commentary said Hawthorn sent 4 extra players back and we didn't send any to match them up.
  4. JKH.......how long can this go on, never should have been in the team to begin with. Bugg not up to it. Hannan would be OK if he could kick or handball, but he can't. Thought Viney and Tyson were good. Would love to see Hogan run and jump at the ball instead of always engaging the body, makes it to easy for the third man in. Lewis was ok in the end but that non-attempt at a tackle in the 2nd on Rioli was a disgrace. Jones started terribly. Frost was fairly influential in the end but had a shocking start. We managed to make Tim O'brien look like Nick Riewoldt and played Roughead into form. Salem poor today, dropped marks and a loopy handball that stood out.
  5. Jordan Lewis.....[censored] off, worst effort I have ever (EVER) seen from a Melbourne player.
  6. Looked deliberate (and beyond stupid) to me. Umpire was in perfect position to make the call.
  7. When he was talking about holding the ball......haha
  8. Reminded me of our game against West Coast last year.
  9. Concussion victim Angus Brayshaw will also return for Casey’s clash against Werribee after missing a week from another head knock. http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/melbourne-demons/jack-trengove-campaigns-for-melbourne-afl-recall-after-blistering-form-in-the-vfl/news-story/827129769b645c91b26fad34984141d2
  10. Almost as good as Aaron Daveys. Mark Maclure agrees with you.
  11. Not sure he is what we need. Seems to be able to do everything well except kick. Does have a good radar for the goals though.
  12. I'll bite. Moore has been a big disappointment this season. He kicked 5 goals in his 3rd game of football. He has had impressive pre season games and I think most people really rate him based on his game against West Coast last season. Most people have figured him out now (don't let him run and jump at the ball). The big difference between the two players is Darcy Moore is quick. Darcy Moore kicked 24 goals in 17 games in his second season. I'm on record as being critical of the selection of Weideman, it's due to the overall package. I agree he flies for his marks well but his inability to compete at ground level and change direction is a major concern. On Petracca, I find it strange they didn't compare him to Stringer or Wingard, who play similar roles.
  13. He definitely is not quick. But he shows more composure than Melksham and judges the ball better in the air. Melksham is an OK player until he has to do anything other than punch the football.
  14. You quoted my post referring to a statement regarding that.
  15. I will find it hard to disagree with that but my point was he was capable of doing that in his 3rd year, Brayshaw can't even hold his place in a team that has all kinds of NQR's getting games. Tyson also kicked 16 goals that year. To say Brayshaw can do everything plus some is far fetched.
  16. I don't necessarily disagree with this statement, but his kicking has been poor this season. A large number of his kicks have hung in the air too long and been intercepted or spoilt as a result. I think this is playing a part in the amount of handbalsl as he appears to have lost some confidence in his kicking.
  17. Not sure if you're are being serious or a smarta$$. 2014 and came 4th last year.
  18. Well I guess I can remember his only good kick for the night then, a lovely long ball to Hogan, who should have got a free on this occasion. Not many players on our list could have made that pass. Kent and Petracca are probably the only other players who would have got that kind of penetration. Except find the football.......... Tyson has been poor this season, but in his 3rd season he came 2nd in our best and fairest. While Brayshaw is struggling to get a game and gets better with each game he doesn't play on this board.
  19. Love him, but not a chance, J. Riewoldt and T. Nankervis the dominant players on the ground.
  20. Last rant for the night. Billy Stretch just standing there when Grigg plays on for the goal at half time. Poor poor form.
  21. My issue is he lacks the assets and is therefore an easy match up. He is small, has a tiny frame and is not quick. If you put a ball between them, I'd expect Rance to win 10 out of 10. Your questions is somewhat irrelevant because it happened. Kent has the speed and strength to compete with a player like Rance.
