Always interesting to have this discussion every year! IMHO we need to target 2 ready made players from other clubs using a few players with something that others clubs can utilise. The ones most likely would be Preuss to GWS, ? Perryman and TMAC/Sparrow/Dunkley to Ess for Saad. If Daniher is open to coming to us and we can sort out his issues that would solve some of our glaring issues. All of our draftees must have kicking and marking skills

Don't understand the possess the ball without scoring game plan. If you don't keep scoring you can't win. Is this a soccer defence based plan? I would prefer a mix of the ballistic style and the possession style. I guess we don't have the consistency yet to deliver a top 4 berth.

Tend to agree. He has people in all the positions that are ahead of him. Small back-smith, wing-langdon, small forward Spargo. When we were running off HB into the centre bounce he may have been a good bet. I'm not sure if he could play as a mid in bursts with the difference being his pace compared to our regulars. Unfortunately I think that Pickett would be ideal in that role too!
