Thanks for the reports! Any word on when the final training session for the year will be..? (fingers crossed they could put it on a Saturday) -

Also not shocking to take the boots off before going on the bike. -

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers

I think it’s a bit of paranoia, which is fair enough after the years of Hogan ‘will-he-won’t-he’ drama. As far as I can see, we currently have 13 players on our list who were drafted from interstate. These three newbies will be part of a group of sixteen interstate players at the club who can empathise and support each other. -
Who would you have taken with pick # 3 - recruiters

Reading that, it's a surprise that Young slipped as far as he did. -

2008 Draft first round took 2 minutes and 30 seconds. -

Yep. With our pick 3, being the first 'live pick' of the draft - no need for games, smoke and mirrors. Just like pick 1 has never been a secret, I'd suggest our pick three, as reported unanimously now across the football media, is set in stone. -

Is Jackson a left or right footer? Just watching his clips again, he's kicking with both. Some of the 'floaters' that people have been talking about are from his left, but he seems to be very adept using both sides of his body which is quite rare nowadays. -

Thanks for the reports again! I can see the rationale behind these high intensity drills. If we want to beat Richmond next year, we need to be able to match their physical intensity and execute our skills when under their immense pressure. -

Bucky would have delisted Harmes at season's end too. -

Is that really everything you've read about Jackson? I'd suggest you read a little wider. Whether he goes pick 3 or not, the kid can seriously play. -
I don’t think we trailed. Collingwood came storming back, we were up by 4, then Watts kicked the sealer, not the ‘winner’. Fasalo I think kicked a goal after that which brought the margin back down to 4 points. Flawed question.

9/10 Bloody top half/bottom half question got me!

Yep - will be very disappointed if we miss him between 8 and 10. I have confidence in Taylor... but I have a feeling we may be missing out on a very good player here. -

Feels a bit more like Clayton Oliver. (not saying it will turn out the same way, but he was a real bolter in the lead up to the draft after not even playing in the nationals) -
Always best available. Bid on Green.
-
Always preferred him back. Seems to play his best football when it’s all payed out in front of him and he can take it on. Never looked comfortable as a forward.

Fritsch Eager to Take it Up a Notch

It's surprising how little time he's spent playing as a forward at senior level. We've seemed to be determined to transform him into a wing or half-back for the first two years of his career. Looks so natural and comfortable up forward. -
How did Brendan Goddard become a thing..?
