  1. I think I’m done with the AFL… I love the MFC but I hate a lot about the competition
  2. I don’t know how anyone can compare Houston’s bump to Kozzy’s contact last night. They are very very different.
  3. This is a great take on the situation. I hope his manager and those around him are telling him to take his time and not even think about his footballing future until he is fit and healthy again.
  4. Maybe he will, but to be suspended for going for the ball is a joke. The AFL have lost the plot due to legal actions against them. houston was worthy of suspension as he wasn’t going for the ball, this is not.
  5. I don’t understand how that can even be thought of as a suspension? He had eyes on the ball and was trying to soccer it. Moore went to ground and that was the reason his head was hit. If that’s a suspension the AFL have lost control of the game
  6. We effectively traded pick 20 in the 2021 draft for pick 22 in the 2020 draft. Our future is ruined
  7. ‘Sold our future’ what a wild statement
  8. Think Duff-Tytler will be free to all teams
  9. That would not go down well in Australia I don't think....
  10. I think Windsor can definitely get to that level
  11. I’d imagine the clubs and recruiters would have a fair idea already
  12. I’m most interested to see if Maysie is actually playing… seems the medical staff haven’t advised him yet that he’s been put in ice for the season?
  13. Well who are you to replacing from the midfield options? Gulden, Reid, Horne-Francis, Sheezel, Daicos and Wardlaw all have him covered at this stage. They break the players into different sections, so he can’t replace any of the forwards or defenders.
  14. He's contracted until 2029, so they absolutely have grounds to ask whatever they want.
  15. Unfortunately it is a bit of a popularity contest. Realistically I think McVee should be in the side over Wilmot, but can't see who JVR or Windsor would replace.
  16. Agree with this. I think the FD will continue to play Turner as a forward and I think he will become a very good one. I think in an ideal world they will add a ready to go forward and move petty back. I do wonder if Liam Reidy could come in as a ruck/forward instead, given he apparently did play forward for Frankston.
  17. Give it a rest media…. It wasn’t the severity, it was not understanding how much it had affected Christian they are referring to.
  18. I also think a deal will get done and also think he will be at the Dees. It's all just media speculation at this point to get clicks. If Port are looking to bring in either Perryman or Cumming then they will likely need to let Houston go. I highly doubt we will be trading 2 first round picks without getting something in return. Plenty to play out and it will probably go deep into the trade period.
  19. They are contesting it?
  20. We are about to win 10 straight.... get ready to party.
  21. Great interview from Jake. Think we should've trotted him out through this whole experience, would've killed the story straight away.
  22. This year is very different to the past 19 before it. Webster got 7 or 8 for his bump. Sam Powell Pepper got 4 earlier in the year and his wasn’t as bad as this one.
  23. 5 weeks is pretty standard for that type of action. There was no need to bump, he chose to and the player was knocked out.
