I'm keen to get people's thoughts, if Trac was keen for a move to Brisbane and they were keen on him (very possible if they don't win a flag again) would posters take Rayner and Bailey for Trac? I can honestly see a world where we could sway them both to come home with longer contracts and bigger salaries. Plus we could probably offer both more midfield minutes.

Would be handy depth I think.

If we don't appeal this decision and get off I am done for the year and potentially for good. I will not be watching one minute of this corrupt finals series.

I really feel for Kozzy here. Didn’t do anything wrong and misses three games because the AFL are dealing with a litigation issue

I believe they are trying to argue that Kozzy was entitled to contest the ball in the manner he did and he couldn’t foresee Moore sliding in. This would essentially mean he didn’t act ‘careless’ and thus meaning he shouldn’t be suspensed

That doesn’t make sense. He didn’t run past the ball and Moore doesn’t lower himself, he slides in illegally

If the issue is with the medical stuff on KB game, do we need to get Christian and the Doctor in a ring together? Maybe a bit of light sparring, helmets on of course. They can hash it out and hopefully shake hands after. But in all seriousness, if that was the main issue what would it have to do with anyone else but the Doctors who cleared him? Not like Pert and Roffey are down there doing the assessments.

I think that’s one of the big issue for us fans. To say ‘oh I want to go play for a big club’ after a large number of us spend our hard earned to go to games and support him, to then turnaround and say that is a real slap in the face.

I think everyone in the AFL, the club and supporters understand that he has gone through a traumatic experience and is struggling mentally. He has mentioned this in the interviews and also explained he is seeing a psychologist who specialises in trauma. I think the thing that is perplexing to most, is this is probably not the time to be making life altering decisions, such as completely moving away from a club you have been at for 10 years and have built up many strong friendships. I understand that emotions of been high for him and his family, but surely if you're close to him you're saying Christian get yourself right, spend time working on recovery both physically and mentally and once you've done that let's discuss your plans. That might mean next year you play at Melbourne, but at least you've taken the time and worked on getting back to playing good football before leaving. If this time next year he still wants to leave then I think the club should do so.
