What happened to the other listed MFC AFL players over the weekend that didn’t play? Any game? Practice match or otherwise to gauge form from.

I would like to see Chandler get a run. Not sure who he replaces. Loving minimal changes.

While I was a little disappointed not to win by 50 plus last night after key Giant injuries, I think we did ok. Playing against sides that flood has always been our Achilles heal. We previously never had the small forward to survive the congestion and turn repeat entries into goals. Next week will suit us more.

I agree, he runs at him, but I don’t believe his original intention was the bump.

I think it is unfair to say he lined Kelly up.. yes he ran at him, but his first intention would have been to tackle, then when the ball left the area, he decided he couldn’t tackle- so elected to bump. That was his error. Does he deserve a suspension, under the rules, yes he does. But not sure he was malicious.

They will say, “clash of heads”- no case to answer.

Just watched the replay.. I know people have knocked Jordan and the recruiting of that draft. I think Jordan will make it as will Chandler and Bedford. Sparrow might make a good defensive small over time. Hard game to read, biggest disappointment for me was Trac. He was well below his standard.

Bedford, Chandler and Lockhart (when played forward) offer way more as depth smalls. Not sure we need him.

Seen some articles online suggesting Brisbane and Carlton are winners out of trade period.. Brisbane gave up a first rounder for Daniher and grabbed Cockatoo- no guarantee either will make it on the park.. Carlton treat new player contracts like the Judd Visy deal of the century. Still no inside mid at that joint to support Cripps properly.
