Our gameplan is very similar to what Malthouse implemented at Carlton. Focus on drawing contests close to the boundaries and if pressure comes, force a throw in and re-set. Single most boring slow moving game style imaginable. We are what Freo was under Lyon.. pins for the eyeballs!

2 things.. 1. We have blokes shirking the contest, not Viney.. Oliver and Kozy trying to flick the ball and not put their body behind it.. 2. Gee we play a horrible brand of footy.. can’t sell memberships with this crap

We need to change the midfield mix. I think Oliver, Harmes and perhaps a Salem or throw Pickett in. Keep Viney forward, Trac HFF and Brayshaw can have time forward as well. It is not our strength, it is our greatest weakness now, both in ball winning ability, pressure and disposal.

Work around contests is as bad as I’ve seen

Appreciate the tread to understand from a sliding doors perspective, just as long as we are not smug about St Kilda’s luck with McCartin.. We have butchered more drafts picks than we have got right in the last 15 years.

I love Jack, but his monotone voice made it impossible to watch. A very boring Open Mike.. Agree with others, a lot of questions missed.

A shout out the backline, Rivers, May, Salem and Lever.. excellent as a unit. Strong in the contest and great ball use. Lucky to win with an average showing from the midfield. But the forwardline- what they hell!! Vanders, horrible. Melksham, horrible. Hannan, yuck! Need to find a better mix forward of the ball. Harmes, Fritter and Maybe Hunt, Baker or Bedford to come in. One thing worth a try is Preuss ruck, Max forward in replacement of Brown.

Langdon keeps us in games as much as May.. his pressure and ground coverage is exceptional
