I didn't say I was against the idea, it would certainly suit us. I am just saying it would be crazy to have a pre-finals bye as the main mission has been to try to fit in 17 games + finals ASAP very unlikely to happen imo

How sweet would NO CHANGE be? most clubs are scrambling, resting/managing players. stability is key. and we have quality guys waiting to come in when needed during the next 'frenzy' of games

Love Salem, probably our best decision maker under pressure. He is critical to us retaining the ball. He could be played more through the midfield or even HF but the teams needs him on HB. Looking forward to the next 100!

Assuming Gawn comes in for him this week, it would be worth resting Gawn in round 17 or 18 in the lead up to finals good to have Preuss ready to go. He certainly surprised me with his second efforts if we trade him we will need to draft or trade in a ruckman

The top 4 looks set. Looking at the draw, the top three are 100% set with easy draws. WC have a tough run in but are two games ahead of us and we don’t have a game in hand. We’ve won 5 of the last 7 games. We are in good form with a healthy young list. We have an easy draw and should finish 5-6th and so will smash the saints in week one of the finals. You heard it here first!

Can’t see many at the Lions taking BOGs off Neale. I reckon he’ll win win based on this. gawn has a couple of BOGs and clarry too, and viney one Perhaps not that I think Neale deserves it over Trac

I honestly don’t know what some of you want from Garry. He is a club legend and former captain. he is in the media. I hear his comments as a frustrated supporter, basically like one of us commentating. You are always harder on those you love. Like if your son plays in the team you coach. if he started praising us and going on about it, it would be weird and he’d loose credibility as a media guy
