I don't have a problem with what he is doing, I am just commenting that Neale seems less focused on winning a flag and honouring contracts than the average player. He has a great opportunity with the Lions over the next couple of years. Freo should push on but are unlikely to be top 4 for a while yet As you mention we have no idea of the his motivations and specific circumstances but I do find it curious

It is certainly good that he is looking after his wife and family. I am just glad we have players that put the club ahead of their personal stuff. I imagine we would have players with partners that would like to move for career or family reasons but they put the club first. If friends and family is so important then why walk out on Freo for a 5 year deal in Brisbane? he seems from the outside like he looks like he puts himself and his family first and his club is just his place of work and nothing more

That certainly is curious. So the umpires are not deliberately favouring the dogs but they get more free kicks so we should investigate it? have you considered that the dogs won the contested ball tonight and play a manic game style that is contest heavy and get to the ball first a lot so they might be more likely to win free kicks? or what other explanation do you think there is?

Oh the conspiracy! the umpires get together and decide they want the dogs to win! It’s been happening for years. You can tell as the dogs haven’t won a final in 5 years. they were harder at it and won contested ball. Admittedly a few dodgy calls but it happens you honestly think the umps get together and decide to pay more frees to the one team?? 😂

Thinking practically we have many things in our favour. Geelongs game plan and aging list dont hold up well to finals intensity. The frenetic pace and crash n bash etc. danger is out of form.
