PREGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
It will take a long time to establish a brand new fan base but Arsenal for example average 30K per match and will be playing in the Emirates stadium (70K capacity) next season. They have many stars and other teams play in tiny stadiums and average very low numbers. The US W league averages over 10K per game over the whole league so there is definite improvement, once it keeps getting support If the AFL start taking the AFLW seriously and putting money into it, it will grow. For 10 years it has been a novelty comp once last 2-3 months.

PREGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
The way WC draft, they could have 5 first round picks and still have no stars. They have been on the bottom for 5 years and only have Harley Reid to show for it Hopefully they keep their list manager

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Hawks just signed Newcombe to a long term deal until 2032. Can't wait for Cornes to say it's the worst deal ever

Trade Targets
yeah perfect deal for us. that will never happen in reality. maybe throw in Sheezel for May as well?
-
Trade Targets
Are you guys on crack? Lever is no good but we want Duursma for him? Lever is not worth a number 2 pick Lever once he gets his body right is critical to holding our defence up when May is gone (very soon)

Farewell Judd McVee
Just offer him the standard 10 year deal with the option for another 5 if he meets targets

Time to go Goody?
you donโt remember all the complaining about the midfield when he was midfield coach in 22 and 23? As I said, Iโm a fan of Yze but you canโt say he was responsible for our success and then when we failed say it was because he followed Goodys gameplay
-
Time to go Goody?
I hate when mum and dad fight on this forum
-
Time to go Goody?
Yze was there in 22 and 23 during our straight set losses and where we bombed it long constantly. He seems a good coach but his worth seems overstated on here

Time to go Goody?
Talk about deflection from the FD. Of all of our problems, AA Captain Gawn is the least of them. Between him and Viney, they drive standards at training and on/off the field. The coaches and FD need to be held accountable

Time to go Goody?
I'm thinking some snazzy Powerpoint animations could help

Time to go Goody?
It's time to thank Goodwin and move on. Start the search early and have a new head coach by preseason day 1
