  1. Can round 24 be named, “heteronormative learned patriarch behaviours round”?
  2. Another amazing DEI hire.
  3. So, Maynard elbows Krueger to the head, Krueger will miss next week with concussion, and Maynard will get a fine? Must be amazing being one of the big clubs.
  4. From Champion Data: Uncontested Mark: Marks taken under no physical pressure from an opponent. Includes marks taken on the lead and from opposition kicks. Contested Mark: When a player takes a mark under physical pressure of an opponent or in a pack.
  5. It’s because you’ve used up your yearly allotment. You can copy the link to the image, come back to Demonland and in the box where you type your post, go to “Other Media” and go to “Insert image from URL”. Paste in the link to the image.
  6. Everyone! To Bomberblitz!!!
  7. EAD Essendon and the AFL (in the nicest way possible).
  8. Oh no… the AFL will not be happy with that.
  9. Here come the umps.
  10. Of course clubs are keen. They know what he’s capable of and they’d be hoping to get him “cheaper” than they previously could have.
  11. Since round 10, Essendon have beaten Richmond, North, West Coast and Collingwood. They suck.
  12. Stringer being referred to as “The Weapon” really is gross. He’s up there with one of the most overrated players who are currently playing the game.
  13. Both teams trying to be too fancy. Just kick the bloody ball.
  14. Not sure. But if they weren’t included, Nick Daicos would have zero contested possessions against his name (for the record, he has not taken a single contested mark in the AFL).
  15. In accordance with the laws of the game, a contested possession is a possession achieved as a result of winning a contest. Includes hard ball gets, loose ball gets, contested marks, free kicks won in a contest, and contested knock-ons. I have no idea how important they are. Are they important? Or does it simply depend on your game style/plan, the type of players you have, your opposition on the day?
  16. Any truth to the rumour that he roundhouse kicked the doctor when he was born?
  17. No, hate it, stop changing [censored]. Fix what’s broken.
  18. Is Oliver leaving footy to start a band?
  19. I made Covid so I could go to the 2021 Grand Final.
  20. The media were all over the club and Oliver during the pre-season and at the beginning of the season. Morris is continuing to set-up the narrative around Oliver, now that we’re approaching the end of the home and away season. Once the season is complete and prior to the trade period, Morris will then go all in on the rumour (that he created).
  21. I am not this Morris… I am @mauriesy
  22. 100%.
  23. That is a really really easily dislikable panel. Tom Morris calls clubs randomly: Is Clayton Oliver gettable? Club: Every player is tradeable. Tom Morris: So basically, you’re saying that Oliver is gettable? Morris then reports that “the noise is enough, just for me to wonder whether or not something could be orchestrated.” I have no doubt that this is how, or similar to how, the situation went down.
  24. Simple! Love it.
  25. You’re happy with the changes because of one potential player, Daz? The timing of the “walk back” screams unprofessionalism.
