He would be stupid not to have explored it. If an offer was presented to me or an opportunity arose elsewhere I’d certainly explore that opportunity. Doesn’t mean I’d take it, it could help me get a better deal with my current employer.

I believe Melbourne offered Dean a one year contract (maybe two?), St Kilda offered three and on more money. Given his history of injuries, surely you can’t have Ill feelings towards him for taking St-Kildas offer, I doubt anyone at our club does.
