Did Brown cop a fine for staging earlier on in the season vs Adelaide? If he didn’t, no player will ever receive a fine again for staging.

The only thing I could think of was “umpire abuse” following the reversal. I haven’t watched the replay so I’m unsure if the reversal and 50m were paid at the same time. If there was a break between the reversal and the 50m penalty, the above may explain it??

Garland announced his retirement after missing 2017 with a knee injury and would have turned 30 early the following season. OMac is currently 23 and isn’t fighting his way back into the side following a severe knee injury. I think the cases are too different to draw the same conclusion.

I’ve heard Fremantle have agreed with Hill to let him go at the end of the season. It will open the door to allow them to enter the race to sign Tim Kelly.

He’s the sort of player that is picked up as a mature age recruit by another club, has the game against us that he had yesterday and we all think “why can’t we pick up a player like that?” This season we’ve picked up two of those types, Hore and Lockhart.
