Both Hardwick & Buckley evolved & changed their game plans. One thing for sure we need players who don’t butcher the ball!

The misery continues to be inflicted onto its suffering supporter base 55 yrs strong! 20+ yr member & completely guttered on how this club finds a way over the cliff after tasting some success. Have witnessed this so many times late 80s, mid 90s, & 2000s. Is it culture, development, game plan, just fed up watching garbage play!

MFC are full of excuses, cats have strong culture, development, good drafting & get good free agents. Haven't bottomed out since 07, won 3 flags & always in the mix to challenge for a flag. MFC since 07, multiple early picks, rebuild after rebuild, 1 finals appearance & we have fallen off the cliff again in 2019! Its the Melb way we just sustain any long term success!

5 decades of failure! Not sure how I continue to follow this club. Since the the early 70s & yet to witness the ultimate success. History continues to repeat itself. My 21yo son hates me for making him follow the MfC as all of his mates have seen flags!

Love your optimistic approach...but as a club need to stop making excuses, change the culture, recruit better players so we can bat deep enough. We have too many VFL good players who can't play at AFL level long enough. We lack strong leadership presence on the field which should have dealt far better last night.

Excuses, excuses, players on the ground were in the position to win, not the injured ones! Culture needs to change to take your chances! Only the mfc can manufacture a loss from a winning position! Actually hate the club as it inflicts such negativity for its supporters, you would think after 50 years of supporting them I would be immune to these types of loses!
