All true & u can include the diabolical drafting & development including the rotten culture & poorly run club both on & off the field..... But what's the point...the club can only shape the future & a reminder to all of how just bad the club got & patience is required to fix the train wreck????

Is playing well... Does a lot of the ball & provides good leadership.... As supporters we expect too much from premiership players from other clubs.... Remember they are 1 of many good players in other teams lists who play their role...

We have to accept the bulk of our list is not up to playing @ the intensity required against too afl teams....Whilst Roos is accountable you can't polish a turd....I think most agree the majority of players he had brought in have worked, I dare say more changes will be made by yrs end!

1990 was a carbon copy from 87-91 we just couldn't make top 4 & get a double chance.... We seem to have lapses for a month or so & scramble to make the final 5 & have to play cut throat elimination finals....but 1990 was the best chance to win a flag as the it was a very even year for the teams in the finals..

Without blaming 1 player & he had some mates with him... But player wearing number 4 couldn't muster not 1 tackle! My concern is that tackling is a big part of Roos non negotiable & yet I just don't think its a part of his dna....

You reap what you sow! Prime example below we have 4 picks in top 20 & yet 6 yrs later we have 3 players gone & 1 who may never play again! Freo have a pick 20 who is an A grader now.... Get real people we butchered our picks for years & expect Roos to fix in 2 drafts! How can you go from 24 pts up & lose by over 50Pts??? It's either fitness from a physical point or mentally cannot play 4 qtrs....

Understand we have a long way to go ... But to capitulate like this is a concern as it reflects on our senior leadership group wtf are they doing???

Sure do was 23yo & saw the dark days of the 70s & early 80s & got laughed @ school for being a MFC supporter.... We come close to a flag & actually would say 1990 was the best year to win as it was very eaven but continue to finish 5th & not in the top 4... Can't compare lists now vs 87 as they were are hard defensive group with more games under their belt... Our time will come...

You think he would get a game @ haw, Syd, Geel (, freo we no the answer) I wander if he would have played 150 games with those clubs??? The thought of some posters wanting him back @ our club ..Honestly Roos is trying to create a culture not sent it backwards!

The point were missing here ... is one club culture allowed him to get away with poor worth ethics & 1 didn't .... It's a poor reflection on the MFC pre Roos era & I dare say Roos worked him out....

Never forget this qualifying final in 2000..... Almost got there Neil...

Very sad to happen to such a nice person & a coach who gave his all to the footy club..... The club should support him & his family as much as possible.... 10 yr coach, 6 final series, 2 prelims, & 1 GF all out of Junction Oval training facilities!

Isn't this just the whole problem that we always want to get a handout.....We are @ round 8 & we're talking priority picks! I
