The quality of your list is driven from your top six not your depth. Staker and Buchanan have been traded for to make an impact now with Brown and Black at their prime. They cant sit around and develop kids off the youth list for 4 to 5 years. Some traded player will perform many dont. Time will tell. Rodan is a stocking filler. Might give something and we got him for nix. Complacency is a different issue to talent. Del Santo is a talented but lazy and selfish footballer.

I dont doubt it. But the Lions have a 3 year window to work with and I agree with the bold course taken. However it succeeds or fails on Fev. The other players are peripheral and are not players I would have wanted MFC to chase. They werent going to win a flag with their 2009 side. And it will be alot harder to challenge in say 2012 when Brown and Black are not around.
