  1. Fixed his mindset?? I am not sure he can do that either.
  2. Unless he does what Old says in the ND and he does not want to play with MFC. Otherwise he can hang the boots up as an alternative? The upside is that he may be able to play in flag where the Club's window is now and his body lasts.
  3. Likewise. We wont be offering anything for him. Picks 25 and 62...what were the Pies thinking? Agree Pants. I reckon he will take a shortened deal with the Saints.
  4. As a pre emptive warning to any poster..... Any speculative comment or conjecture about Fevs actual or alleged behaviour by Fev will dealt with harshly. While I am no fan of Fev's, speculation on any alleged activity or behaviour which might interest authorities compromises the owners of this site. If you are not sure or you weren't there...dont comment. Let the media outlets play with it and post the link if you have to. Thanks For the record....two posters have been warned already for this and we dont want to waste any more time with further scuttlebutt.
  5. So few dollars. Actually its the opposite. You always here that each year is a great draft and often does not produce that many guns. I remember 2003 being touted as a very good draft. Its been proven to be one of the worst. Aside from Scully and the top 2 or 3 from there, its rated comparatively thin and the Clubs are more ready to chase NQRs than youth.
  6. Thanks for that. Off to iTunes now......
  7. If that is so, then that is a very good outcome indeed.
  8. And when Fev could have stayed and punched the lights out of every other senior player at Carlton and still kick his 70+ goals, Carlton would have been cherry ripe indeed. They already were bent over with Fev. They have come out of a bad dysfunctional situation reasonably well. Absolutely
  9. So we can take that as a given. Thanks
  10. Hyperbole and only 3 to 4 premierships short of Barassi, Smith and Matthews
  11. Who said that? I think you are wrong. The talent pool has been reduced by 1/3. And a number of the learned recruiter have already assessed that this years top 10 outside the top 3 are not as good as the previous year. The smaller pool means a reduction in talent. Its why there is such a rradiness to punt on ready to play NQR than to fossick through a thin pool of young players.
  12. I will be more literal next time. I only stated the obvious.
  13. You hope it is. Ball's body is anything but hard given the lingering OP he has.
  14. I think they're in the balance i dont they're big winner. They lose a hot and cold gamebreaker and gain a player who is an unknown after his knee injury. And the spaces gained in the draft are nothing at that level in a shallow draft.
  15. Agree. Carlton have done well from this given they were potentially in a tough spot. Fev was untenable at Carlton
  16. As another astute poster said MFC are six years away from flag success. For Ball its like St Kilda circa 2001. His body wont last! Money wont get us there either
  17. Toss your right one in and you will still be safe. I cant see Ball going to PSD. A deal will be done.
  18. Outstanding. Brilliant effort. Great Music. Can anyone advise the name of the song and the singer?
  19. If I believed the rumours then Bell would be at Port for a first rounder. MFC can try all it likes. I hope it does get through but I am realistic to know its a long long shot. But it isnt a win win for both sides. One side would be doing charity.
  20. This is bound to derail the Daniel Bell for a first rounder trade deal going on.
  21. Cant we package Issac Weetra in the deal and make it mouth watering for the other Club. Daniel Bell cant cut a regular game after seven years in one of the worst sides I have witnessed in 40 years and he is a guy with some pace who can break a line..... but cant hit a target and with suspect decision making. Only D'landers can source untapped value in a player where there is none. Mind you the same could be said about Bartram and Buckley as well. A club with any sense would be better sizing other targets with more upside. If they want any of them they could grab them in the PSD on their terms. Bell is contracted for one more year so they just have to wait 12 months to pick up a bargain.
