Vince has been average for two months..is 32...I would argue that we have a plethora of midfielders to replace him, while Pedo is one of the few big bodied talls who has proven he can take a mark and kick a goal. You argued that based on age he was finished. That was what you said..he will be delisted because he turns thirty. The only thing you considered was age. I was being a smartarse and saying that based on your dribble thinking, Vince was done too

I can't believe some think Pedersen is done and should be delisted. Prior to his injury, the bloke was kicking 2 or 3 a game and taking contested grabs at both ends of the ground. He is a seriously good pack mark and provides a contest, which is far more than you can say for Dawesy. I think a few people need to go back and have a look at Pedersen's early season matches. He is also reasonably agile for a bick bloke and can at least hold the ball up if he doesn't mark. Dawes turns slower than the Queen Mary and could't run down a sloth crossing the road.

This is spot on. Hogan gives up on the ball as soon as the kick isn't to his liking. There was one point today when the kick missed him and went over the top to his opponent who dropped the 1mark, but Hogan had already started soiling and not run to be on the mark to impact the contest and the Swans player had time to fumble without pressure. That is laziness

I had it put to me by a non Melbourne supporting mate today that we should have played in the royal blue today as a promotion of MND Big Freeze. Personally, I said I thought it was a dilution of our brand and that the royal blue represents an awful era historically for us Interested to see what others think. It would be a good one off jumper and would look ggreat to have the stadium in royal blue . Not sure that the QB game is the forum for it as it's our biggest TV exposure game. THOUGHTS??

I like the work of NB as our apparel sponsor. However, it would be great to see them stock a bit of our merchandise in their stores. I go to the shop down at South Wharf, which is a tourist hot spot and also the one at Chadstone. Neither having one bit of MFC apparel. I note that they do sell a heap of discounted Liverpool FC stuff, which is heavily purchased by tourists. It would be great if they could get some MFC stuff in these stores. Even the last years clearance items would be good. They used to do that but not in recent times.

I'd say if we win this week and then have a crack at the Hawks..by the Queens Birthday game we will have 40,000 members. I note that the club has followed the lead of many other clubs and now offer a 3 game membership which gives access to the QB game..it's $99.00 and there is no reason why people who are going to that game wouldn't buy a membership...
