Tambling was picked after Roughead. Buddy had similar 'character flaws' that Darling possessed at time of drafting.

I'm happy to lament Darling, as every other club in the league probably does. No disrespect to Cook. I think much of the offence is taken on his behalf. He might be a gun yet. Unfortunately, the other Jack (his first name was surely a hint) already is.

I am not a fan of the Locker Room either, makes discussion so disjointed. Preferred D'land before it.

The joke amongst my group of supporters who I go with every week is that he takes 1 token mark every game (usually from kick outs). If he takes 2, like last week, he's had a good game. If he has zero, it's been a bad game, e.g. yesterday. I like him, as a player and a bloke, but he is a bit of a dinosaur. Needs reinvention.

Has been really average this year, guys like Bail and Nicholson have, in glimpses, looked far more dangerous than JT. However, I wrote off Frawley and Garland when they were young and I know now to give players time to get right before sinking the boots in. I believe in him, has all the goods to be one of the best players in the comp. He has stopped marking overhead, which he was always quite good at, and I think this is because he gets to far less packs than he did in the first two years. Has his role changed and he is not handling it well? I don't think they're playing a guy with OP. That doesn't happen in this day and age.

There's a lot of changes that could be made: Under the pump: Green Magner Morton Trengove (like the kid, but has been a liability this year) Moloney (let his opponent run riot) Nicho (had a forgettable one) Possibly suspended Sylvia Tapscott Replacements: Bail Couch Bartram (needed him yesterday) MacDonald (very stiff to be dropped)

So many black & white folk here that you could be supporting the Pies. He has improved this year. That is acknowledged. He played a very average game today, and deserves a whack. It doesn't mean we hate him, never believed in him, always wrote him off, yada yada, but he is accountable for his performance, and I, like others here, weren't happy with it. It's called analysis. But please, stuff me in a pigeon hole.
