For the first time ever, I really no longer care.

I like the thread, how about this for an idea. Seeing as our last premiership was 1964 (51 years this year and long before I was even born), for every year it is since you have won a premiership (say 20 years being the trigger) we get an extra player on field for those minutes. As an example we would be able to sub in our 19th player for 51 minutes of active game time. And before anyone asks, yes I am bored shiteless!

Where does our latest injury list sit? I had a quick look at the MFC site, and the latest update there is that it looks as though Dawes will miss the QB Collingwood clash, but Tyson is a possibility!

Same as you praha, for my own sake not watch another game. The sad thing is two of my kids will be on the ground for the Berry Street guard of honour, and I have just taken the odds of $11 for Brisbane by 40+. I am trying to be so excited for my kids, but it is so hard as I have a bad bad feeling about this game.

I am no doctor, and I dont know how this is possible but as you have stated that you have a deadly flu, it seems to me that you are the first woman to ever personally experience the dreaded man flu. We have been telling you girls all this time how dreadful it is, and finally we now have one victim who can vouch how terrifying it really is.

I am still in total disbelief! I was at the game with a few of my old uni mates (who of course are Geelong members), when Hawkins kicked truly to give them a 1 point lead 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter, I got a tap on my shoulder from a Geelong supporter behind me and he pointed and said "Hotham is about 5 hours that way". I had much pleasure at the end of the game turning to him and saying, "I'm not sure if your GPS has updated yet, but look out for the end of the road". I must give credit though as after I told him that, all his mates laughed and they all said congratulations on a great win. What a great weekend it is when the mighty Dees win, and win well.

After leaving the game last night with the family, I was totally shattered, but I had to try and keep myself respectable for my familys sake. Skills aside, the one thing that was so noticable to me was lack of confidence in each other to undertake their role. You know, the 1%ers, creating space even though you may not receive the ball to draw a defender away from the actual contest. The very real problem I now face is how do I keep my 3 kids interested in the MFC, as the eldest is 14, they have never seen the 'good' times, I really feel that time is quickly running out to cement our next generation of supporters and members.

You would think it would be easy enough to get a paint code, ended up mixing my own up. What makes it harder was that it is a two pack automotive paint, and I went a bit silly on the clear over and polish.

That is hilarious, just realised what an idiot I am as I listened to it via Bluetooth in car park waiting to pick kids up from dance and I couldn't work out why everyone walking past was looking at me weird.

Ok thanks for clarifying, now I understand. Feel much better about it now.

If by muck you are referring to mud, not very common here Webber, hasn't rained much here for a good few months.

Damn this, and I just realised that I backed him for the rising star this year. Better role that over to next year I guess.
