I'm usually fairly pessimistic but think we'll win today and win well.. 5-6 goals+. If we can break even in the midfield then we'll be right. Brisbanes forward line is horrible and there backline is just as bad. We should win and win this well.. Falling over the line in a scrap won't be good enough

His form in the first half of the year down back was All australian, I think Cloke getting ahold of him has rocked him confidence. He hasn't been the same since. He was good up forward yesterday but we can't really afford to move him from defence. People will say Fitzy can take his spot but no. We need him down back more then we need him down forward, maybe if Frost was fit you could look at it. He would have the tank to burn off defenders ala Nick Riewoldt, I saw him yesterday burn off a couple in long surging leads but just don't think we can afford to move him

This was predictable... Whenever we are set a decent total we are rolled for under 200. We always capitulate in these big run chases after losing the first couple wickets

I knew we were going to lose this game. I thought at half time we would come out and blow them away after having so much play and looking the better side towards half time.. I couldnt have been more wrong. We still make dumb basic errors for example in the last quarter Tyson has the ball on the defensive 50, has Watts our best disposer of the footy free 5m to his right, a nice little hand pass over to him and were away, what does he do ? Handball a loopy piece of [censored] handball to a player running away from him.. Turn over and only resulted in Mckernanns touched ball on the line but FMD, how dumb are some of our players, I could see from the other end of the ground in the stands that the right option would be to flick it over to Watts... We are too slow, lack pace through the midfield and it's something we need to rectify in this years draft or FA period, all our mids are one paced.. Miss kent across half forward for his pace and pressure when the ball hits the ground. Also thanks Adrian anderson for letting off Baugley, he did a great job on Garlett

7 is terrible.. I like Dennis but Luke Darcy is painful to listen to when commentating play by play, I can not stand basil and hamish they are both terrible. Anthony Hudson is the best of the current commentators. Always listen to SEN if I'm listening to the radio. Don't mind Matt Campbell on fox either. Always was a fan of Tim lane & Stephen quartermaine back in the channel 10 days

The Gawn/Spencer combo worked against the cats when they really only had Blicavs and Walker as their ruckmen, it's easy to say we were too tall last night and Spencer needs to go because essendon don't really have a ruck anyway, it could be like the Geelong game a good chance to dominate out of the middle with Gawn & Spencer... That was a big difference last night compared to the Geelong game, we couldn't get our hands on the footy at stoppages which we dominated Geelong at the previous week

We've seen some players play out years and go through the motions the last 3-4 years such as sylvia, moloney, frawley, scully.. You could tell they were leaving. Yep it is on a completely different level all together... Not sure if anyone mentioned it but would be good to see players not celebrating goals over the weekend as a mark of respect... We saw new zealand and west indies I think it was not celebrate any wickets or 50's/100's made after the passing of Phil Hughes, thought that was a nice gesture at the time

Couldn't begin to imagine what the wife is going through... The players too, it's hit hard to the general public let alone those close to him. IF drugs were involved which could be the case, it might take an incident like this for the whole country to realise this [censored] isnt acceptable... I had mate who worked for an AFL club, he said on a Monday morning their would be a que of players outside the doctors room, they'd walk in and say I had drug "Y" on the weekend, the doc would then give them something to mask it if they happened to be tested... The system is a joke. Another friend of my just only 3 weeks ago, was in the presence of a young up and coming star of the game taking cocaine on the back of their sides bye... It's not just the Gold Coast, they've just been the ones to be caught out.

As I said in the changes thread... Keeping a lid on this game, after every win this year I've got ahead of myself thinking we could put 2 in arow together only to be bitterly dissapointed. Hope I'm wrong!!
