Yeah I'd have to agree think the Panthers are the side to beat in the NFC at the moment but I'm still not 100% convinced on them! I'm thinking either GB or Vikes whoever doesn't win the division will get one WC spot.. Hoping the 2 game lead the Falcons hold at the moment could be enough space with a few more wins in the 2nd half of the season to claim the other

I've all but given up on the Falcons winning the NFC south, just got to see if we can fight it out with the likes of St.Louis, Philly, Seattle and a few other sides log jammed at 4-5 for the wild card spot! Should be a good back half of the season

The jets I feel probably should have taken the 3 and trusted their defense to get the ball back...With the Falcons last week we were struggling to move the ball on offense all day and our defense isn't reliable, still believe we should have gone for it. Got to think what's easier getting a couple yards and getting the TD or hope your defense gets the ball back firstly then you still have to get into field goal range, i personally like when sides go for it

Thing that gets me is Luke Hodge, a poster boy for fhe game, a club captain gets caught drink driving which kills how many people on our roads each year and everyone lets it slide fairly easy... A bloke snorts a line of rack and it's the end of the world, yes drugs are illegal but is a bloke doing a line of coke compared to some driving under the influence of alcohol more of a danger and a worse scenario ? I know which one has holds graver consequence. Yes drugs kills thousands of people each year but that's a different argument. People (mainly media) need to get this into perspective

Not one bit surprised by today's result. We got out of jail against the redskins a week earlier, we were due for a loss and the saints season was on the line. I'll pretend like it's good to get a loss out of the way haha.

Yeah I'm a little worried about this weeks game vs the saints. We were terrible against Washington and some how pulled out the win but our games against the saints are always hard fought, Brees in the super dome is never easy even though their record at home of late is average. I'm not so confident, have a feeling we're due for a loss but the away picks this week aren't too easy!

Would not be happy with Howe for Kennedy straight swap.. Think Kennedy + pies 3rd rounder which we can on trade the 3rd rounder to GWS for bugg.. Bugg & Kennedy for Howe, that'll do me

Don't understand why we would want to trade Howe to move 3 spots up into the draft ? Thought picks 1 & 2 were clear cut but after that wasn't too much difference between the rest of the top dozen. So why would we want pick 3 ? I'd much rather gold coasts 2nd rounder or their pick 19 compensation pick they have I think ? Then on trade whatever pick we get for one of melksham/Kennedy/bugg... Don't see the logic in moving 3 spots in the draft

Do not disagree with one bit of this... I'm talking about years previous why we haven't gone down the project player path because the club hasn't been well equipped enough to do so. We've had to focus on developing our top draft picks. On top of this we haven't had the depth in the list to have one of these players

I understand in the present time we might be able to take on one of these project players but in the last 7-8 years we haven't been well equipped enough to do it. On our development I'd seriously struggle to find any side in this day & age where recruiters rarely get it wrong have had so many wasted top 20 picks. Yes out of the 10 or so picks yours always going to have 2-3 that won't quiet make it but to have so many not developed I find hard to believe the club aren't largely responsible.

Agreed... We couldn't develop top junior footballers in Toumpas, Morton then top 20 picks in Blease,Strauss,Maric.... The list goes on. What hope would we have developing a foreigner

Yeah I have foxtel but don't have IQ so I can't record and watch later, annoying. I'll just have to get the playoffs package IF the Falcons make it, annoying my Christmas holiday gets in the way of watching the last few regular season games as well!! haha

Not that I want to put the jinx on the Falcons but when I got gamepass I got the basic on where you just watch your own sides games.. Anyone know if gamepass releases a playoff package at the end of the year or I can upgrade towards the end of the season ? I think all playoff games are live on 7mate but won't be any good to me if I'm at work and want to watch the game later...
