He was more than that in his first couple of seasons... In 2010-11 I remember him been a very reliable backman who was taking intercept marks left right and centre. 2012 his made captain and never been the same, coincidence.. I think not
-
He helped appoint Neeld... Undoes a lot of good his done for the club Edit: tounge in cheek for those who can't tell
-
What's the mark neeld & lollies coaches box story ?

I'm actually starting to think Roos picked him as the sacrificial lamb.. we know roos hates the sub rule. What benefit would it be bring in a Riley in as sub, would be more beneficial he plays a full game at Casey, same goes with Toumpas. Make Mckenzie the sub, that way players like JKH, brayshaw etc can play a full game against a top aide contending. Honestly think Mckenzie was bought it to just be the sub to not waste it on someone else. Otherwise why was he picked, I thought he was bought in for a run with role but obviously wasn't. He'll go out this week 100%

Think you'll find clancee Pearce was running with Vanders, seems like Vanders might have only been going one way. As for Newtown his showed enough in the first 5 rounds to show his going to be a player, he has only played 9 games as you said. His hit the scoreboard as a midfielder but as you said he doesnt seem to be a big accumulator of the footy..

Ummmm I think Garland had the job most of the day ? Thought grimes had Mayne for the best part and was comprehensively beaten
-
Given it a bit more thought, hasn't Mckenzie been playing down back ? Reckon he might lockdown on Ballantyne
-
Suprised by Mckenzie but guess he'll get a run with role... Who does the green vest go to ? From The bench dont like it on anyone, Mckenzie would be the 22nd picked but his not gonna be the sub. Maybe JKH ?

IN: Grimes (in starting 18), spencer, Mckenzie, Riley, Pedersen OUT: Kent, Jetta
-
Didn't bail cop a knock to the head af Casey last week ? If he did would think with his history he'd be out this week. If that's the case im going: IN: Grimes, Toumpas OUT: Jetta, Kent Other 3 on the extended bench named tonight: Spencer, Jones, Riley

Col gone from Freo.. What a waste of talent, real shame. Thought he'd flourish at freo
-
Yeah he cannoned into the goal post trying to smoother a goal in the 2nd quarter and spent most of the 2nd half forward. You'd think it would be more of a corkie type injury which usually comes up alright and would explain why he'd be off his feet so early in the week but who knows
-
Not without a chance... Freo have had a big month to start the season. Port, Geelong, WC and sydney.. If there ever due for a let down game, a cold day at the G might be it. 8 day break for us

My best mates brother is the punter for the Sharks, just moved over in early March! What actual leauge is the Sharks in ?
-
Also Ive written is previously but getting to Levis stadium is a pain in the ass... Seriously was easier and just as long for me to fly to Atlanta from NYC for the day than it was getting from San Fran to Levis stadium

You'd think one of them would have to be playing that weekend... I got my tickets from stubhub, works fine. Althoug I booked waaaay to early last year, basically as soon as the fixture came out. Paid $250 aud for 49ers & Redskins then a few weeks out from the game tickets were only $100 or less. If a sides having an average year as the 49ers were fans just jump off and start selling there tickets
-
Schedule is released tomorrow at 10am I believe.. Already know who's playing who but we'll find out when i guess.. Might have to pencil in another trip to the states based around going to some games!

Does anyone have any idea if and what the skipper is carrying ? He was good yesterday without been a standout. He just doesn't seem his usual self the past 2 weeks, obviously his entitled for a few quiet games and his set such a high standard that we expect so much from him. Just seems a bit down atm, I did notice around his left shoulder with some tape/strapping under his jumper. Btw I'm not having a dig at him, just curious to see if anyone's heard anything
-
Depends which Melbourne shows up.. If they put Richmond under the same pressure they did Adelaide today and play with that same intensity we will be a real chance but a tough slog today on the back of 2 interstate trips and 6 day break although the tiges have one too could be tough on a young side... I'll at least go into this game optimistic

I've never been a fan of Dangerfield but I hate him even more now, his costant sooking and staging was actually embarrassing.. Hope the AFL fines him for his pathetic efforts

Adelaide v Melbourne POST MATCH DISCUSSION - ROUND 3
JV7 replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Don't get why each week people call for 4-5 change. Roos has never been one to make hostile changes... Wouldn't be suprised if it's Frost out injured for either a tall in Pedersen or they go for another runner in michie/grimes -
Forgot about Pedersen as the forward/2nd ruck option. How's he been going at Casey ? He does make us a bit top heavy up forward though not as mobile as Frost. If Michie plays well at Casey he is next in line
-
No jacks watts too efforts are unbelievable. He takes the first mark were two goals better off.. All our hard contested play undone by two soft efforts
-
We were around these odds a few times last year...
-
Actually was Geelong who flogged us the week prior so that gives your point more credit... But Port were in a form slump then and adelaide are red hot atm.. Only chance we have is adelaide turning up complacent
