I think he is, by necessity, being forced to play deeper than he ideally would. He's a CHF, not a FF. With the emergence of Watts, and with the continued development of Weideman, who is more of a FF, we will see the best of Jesse.

I agree, and while I understand hard ball gets aren't Michie's and Newton's forte, I was still concerned that their big numbers were mainly uncontested, even with Plapp stating that newton played as an inside mid for parts of the game... He had 7 contested possessions. Michie had 4

Hogan had a very heavy collision with the post in the 2nd qtr. I was at the game and thought Brayshaw was very classy, especially by foot. He may not have got much of it, and tired late, but his kicking skills were a highlight. As were Frosty's, actually. Was suprised a number of times by how improved his foot skills are
