Buddy Franklin is a tosser!

jumbo returns

Recommended Posts

Buddy was in the same draft as Newton. He's young and only getting better. Quit the sour grapes.

Franklin brings supporters through the gates. The only thing that brings me through the gates is the love of my team. Not one Demon player comes close to dragging me along.

Absolutely right.

How many goals did Franklin kick in his first final?

And how many did J Brown kick in his first final?

Reckon he might go close to Brown in his career, only lacks the intimidation.

But yes, he's a [censored] and very hard to watch against your own team.

But I'd like a [censored] with such talent on my team.

Remember when Bruce kicks a goal, I know I know it's been a while, but his gangly, puppet on a string, knees hitting his chin celebration is also hard to watch.

Buddy is the most exciting player in the game, and an unstoppable force at times. His performance against Adelaide in last year's finals should dispel doubts about his ability to rise to the occasion. I don't follow the Dees because I think they are all super blokes, nor do I expect many footballers to be great human beings. The general penchant for boganity and selfishness amongst the playing fraternity isn't new. If we had 22 'tossers' who played like Buddy, I'd take it.

He is a frontrunner

Kicks bags against dud teams

Disappeared vs the Kangaroos in last years Semifinal. Was touched up by Josh Gibson

Franklin is a poor mans Allen Jakovich

Just like his game in the 1st final against Adelaide eh !

Every time we get one, guess what? we [censored] trade them. Farmer, Johnstone, Thompson, Woewodin. Iam sick of this s**t

Jonathan Brown shits on him from a great height

i agree, he's a better player now, the best forward in the comp...

but buddy will continue to get better, and he's much younger than J.Brown who turns 27 this year, buddy is only 21...

Doesnt matter how good Franklin becomes, he will never be as good as Jonathan Brown

Two thing will always set them apart - toughness and leadership

Franklin love's himself to death, he's the best young talent in the AFL and he knows it. Atleast he doesn't feel sorry for himself, unlike the majority of our list.

Arrogance comes from extreme confidence and huge self-belief. Something none of our players come within light-years of.

Why does the media latch onto the biggest [censored] of all time? The Hawthorn supporters around me were having an orgasm every time he outmarked our 'superstar' Nathan Carroll. They were groaning 'oh! Buddy, Buddy, Buddy!' I felt like vomitting. The guy has no humility and plays only for himself.

Maybe I'm jealous? Nope! He's a [censored]!!!

hes a champion... simple! the supporters might be tossers but what makes you so sure he is?

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
