Of course it's crap when the team has a shocking year, but if you were a Cats fan you would be over the moon!

Well done to Bartel.....top player, and seems like a decent bloke.

I always like watching Brownlow night.......it can drag on, but still enjoyable!

Im happy enough. Had $10 on Bartel to win it, so I got $90 back. Also had $10 on Scotty Thompson for top 5, and I had a heart attack when he got 3 votes in the last game, thought he might have done it.

If ya look at it, he actually did get the 5th most amount of votes. The bloody tied system is flawed I tell ya!!!

I know how u feel mate. I feel sick.

I had $50 on both Swan and Thompson paying $1550 and $2050.

I figured that'll both will get around 20 votes and since that in previous years, not many have past the 20 mark, i thought it'll a good bet. God damn 8 people were 20+.

Simon Black. 22 votes. What a suck.

I hate Kane Cornes. I went for him over Bartel because i wanted the extra $400.

I feel sick

Such nasty comments and he hasn't even left yet!

He's given us many years of great service. Can we just lay off the digs for now, or are we turning into Richmond?

It brings my mind back to a certain Seinfield routine:

[Opening monologue]

"Loyalty to any one sports team is pretty hard to justify. Because the players are always changing, the team can move to another city, you're actually rooting for the clothes when you get right down to it. You know what I mean, you are standing and cheering and yelling for your clothes to beat the clothes from another city. Fans will be so in love with a player but if he goes to another team, they boo him. This is the same human being in a different shirt, they *hate* him now. Boo! different shirt!! Boo."

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
