The finals - It's a totally different ball game.

Port, Syd, WC, & Adel have all been there before recently.

Geelong haven't.

Yes they have - 2004 Prelim. 2005 Semi.

They are so far in front of the rest that it would be massive if they choked.

Well it will be massive to you but many see it otherwise.

2004 Prel & 2005 Semi are far from "being there" sunshine.

Tiger of old, you are right, Sydney & WC are deffinately the ones to be very carefull around, but collingwood won't even go past the first round as Sydney will not let them do to them what they did 2 rounds ago (or was it 3?). Adelaide will try hard but just miss and i have a funny feeling the roos might pull off a win against Geelong. I just don't wan't PA to win, their theme song is the worst one going around.

That's hardly a reason but fair enough.

Collingwood will get belted on Saturday night.

The Swans are Mr. Finals.

I think you have a fair point on the Kangaroos though.

What a story it would be. They only have like 16,000 members or something......

Maybe even less..

I caught a bad dose of Septopia off a mosquito when I was in Thailand once. The doctors thought they might have to amputate a limb, as the Septopia was really agressive, but it eventually cleared up

I really want the kangaroos to win it. If Geelong win it Melbourne would be the last team to win a premiership (with the exception of Freo who are yet to win one)

Footscray won their last and only flag in 1954.

Geelong will be impossible to beat unless they choke....

I hope it either Geelong/Kangas in the GF or Geelong/Swans....

It funny how 12 months ago Melbournes and Geelongs list were often describes as similar and has the same coach for 10 years....

a year later, hindsight is a wonderful thing

After seeing the games over the weekend.

Geelong are now my pick for the premiership - They were sensational against the Roo. 106 point win in a final..!

Port will be the runner up I think.

I liked the Hawks to - Gee that Buddy the Frank can play.

Wish we had him ;)

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
