Look Joeboy, i know you are a big Sylvia fan, but to say that Dunn had little impact, when he was playing a tagging role, and that Sylvia had some cameos is an absolute joke. Sylvia was poor, and my doubts on him still remain. While Dunn showed some glimpses as to why i think when he finds some consistency to his game, he will be a potential match winner for us.

Dunn had an impact, the second quarter he was great and helped get the 5 goal lead, riley said on the radio neitz was told to take haris away from the pack marking contests and leave dutchy to kill the young kid on him.

Newton's tackling was a feature. in general his second efforts were much improved (thought twice he didnt make the second effort because he came up proppy as if injured).

im happy with his development. he played a good game.

as did newton and sylvia i dont understand why ppl are critical of their games tonight. both showed they are quality

These assessments in particular seem odd to me.

As others have said, I thought Dunn had a good game.

I also saw Newton do the team things on multiple occassions.

Thats right Nash, though sometimes aker sneaked out the back door and bell need's to be more aware of that, he killed the cretin.

Like many, I have no deep understanding of the finer points and technicalities of the game mainly due to never having played.

Just wondering what your qualifications are when you"mark their exam papers" every week. Have you been a coach and if so what level did you go to or were you ever a player and again what standard did you reach? How many years did you play or work as a volunteer.

Just curious as sometimes you are spot on and at other times like a few others, seem not to be at the same game.

In saying that, this is not meant to be a criticism as we all have our own opinions and interpretations of similar passages of play. Just curious about you association with the game in the past that allows you to give us a picture of player performance every week.

Since you asked - I played over 200 games of junior and school football , and was obviously talented enough to be asked to do pre seasons at both StKilda and Prahran ( VFA ), though my dedication to the cause left alot to be desired .

I base my analysis on gut feeling and subjective determination , and my opinion is as correct or incorrect as anyone elses . If I gave myself the freedom to elaborate further than just the 3 words then perhaps I'd leave myself less open to criticism or misinterpretation , but this way I think leaves the door open for others to offer their opinions .

Furthermore , with the money I'm being paid to offer my weekly synopsis , then you've got to take what you're given !

+1. Bell was in our very best, and was great all night. Not one of your most accurate efforts Joeboy.

Newton didn't apply pressure early on, but was much better in the 2nd half at chasing and pressure.

Robbo did the most work of anyone all night; great pressure and leading, and was the biggest winner I thought. Looked SO much better after a rest.

Neitz was (is?) a spud.

Dutchy was great, as was Wheatley. I also appreciated Ferguson's efforts. Good team performance really, (apart from a few).

He's still recovering from the hamstring, you can tell because he isn't running at full speed yet.

He gave Aker a royal spanking, and it couldn't have happened to a bigger [censored]. I fully expect allegations of drug use against Bell surfacing in the near future

Personal have no problems with Akers mouth.. or what he wrote.. i have much admiraiton for him as a player. That said it primes for serious bouquets to be thrown at Bell for his effrots. He eclipsed Aker. . Still a few questions exist for mine over Belly's decision making at times but he does seems to be getting better. His stature is growing.. Good on him.

Geez i forgot about how good robbo was, i really should have had him in, i looked at the screen for possibly 1 minute thinking im missing someone and alas it was robbo, he played a great game.

I enjoy readiung the 3 worder each week. Thought that Newton's second efforts were good.
