Kozzy is in the guts.

If Jack Steele got an All Australian blazer and St Kilda finished with 7 or 8 wins... I mean, it's Ross Lyon so it kind of makes sense. He loves leaving lists in an absolute shambles.

He's pretty much on the money with this.

Petracca at HFF based off 2 games is a little wild but I get it.

Petracca’s played 3 games and is coming 2nd in the coaches votes

He played half a game against Richmond and he was ok without setting the world on fire.

His coach's votes all came from the 2 perfect 10s which supports what I've said but again I can understand him being in a rolling AA side at this point.

Think you're being a little generous about the game he was injured in which resembled one of the many he had for us last year until he went off.

Did you actually see it or did you only look at the coaches votes?

His Richmond game was not at the ridiculous level of his first 2 games, but it was better than everything he dished up for us last year. In 55% game time he had 10 score involvements (equal highest) and continued his much improved disposal. He only had more than 10 score involvements once in 2025.

Not being generous or not about anything.

I just stated two unarguable facts.

Here's my AA team at this stage of the season (found a place for Bont on an extended bench).

FB: Jake Lever, Harrison Petty, Tom McDonald

HB: Daniel Turner, Blake Howes, Christian Salem

C: Ed Langdon, Jai Culley, Caleb Windsor

HF: Kade Chandler, Jacob van Rooyen, Latrelle Pickett

FF: Jake Melksham, Brody Mihocek, Harry Sharp

RUCK: Max Gawn, Jack Steele, Kysaiah Pickett

IC: Tom Sparrow, Harvey Langford, Xavier Lindsay, Koltyn Tholstrup, Bailey Laurie, Bont.

If only we brand On5 was more like the Bont, from a playing and character POV.

I'm fine with him being in the side. Was just saying it was based off two wildly good games, which it was.

Who would be a better choice for that HFF spot after Rd 4? Probably no-one.

Probably no need to mention the injury game though. The coaches votes are also obviously close at this early stage so 2 10 voters will obviously put you in a good position.

Bolton, McInerney, Sheezel, Richards, Butters, Worrell would make a good case.

Biggest backdown ever.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
