That is completely untrue. For starters, Kent Kingsley is still on an AFL list.

Also, Miller worked hard after half time and kept his head up. He shut down his new opponent, made some good decisions and was typically aggressive.

We won't gain anything from a trade, and there are plenty of others who should be delisted ahead of him. He's still young (Carroll was 25 when he started to show signs of being a capable player), and if he is given adequate time and training, he could be a good defender.

He has reasonable pace, he is big, he is aggressive, and IMO he is far better following a forward, than making the play.

Also, Nathan Brown kicked the ball to the opposition in the goal square this year. Is he the worst player on an AFL list?

As a forward I have to agree with you......

But as a defender I don't think he has been given nearly enough time or training to gain necessary and vastly different skills set to make that judgement.

He hasn't been there for any length of time and last night was a calamity from top to bottom that was not just of his making.

Oh dear...is that hard for some people to understand the man has not got a football brain in any sense of the word. no skills, no talent, no awareness...nothing...there is not a chance he will be on our list next year. Has been given more chances than any player i can remember and he has played quite a few games in defense and has been inept 95% of the time.

I think there's a fair chance he'll be on our list, particularly considering Holland is nearing the end.

I think Miller's problem is that we don't have a CHF or CHB at the moment and think of him as one of those and he just isn't. If we had a full compliment of key position players, I think he'd play as a HFFer and do reasonably and not attract al this attention.

Well, this unyeilding negativity only highlights the fact that we really only ever see exactly what we want to see, whether that be the good or the bad........

Even with this 'shot to pieces by injury' list, Miller would still struggle to be listed as an emergency for a HFF. If we had an established CHF or CHB, he'd be as good as gone.
