PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 10th November 2025

From the article on the club's website:

"Keen onlookers at Gosch’s Paddock would see a change in jumper numbers throughout the group, but fans will have to wait until the guernsey digits are locked in following the finalisation of the full AFL list."

The social media person must have been reading through this thread and wanted to put the conjecture to bed 🤣

I thought I read in another thread (or earlier in this thread) that the two Maxs were doing running drills together another day. So I would presume that Big Max will be mentoring Slightly Smaller Max.

I suspect Gawny has gotten to know Heath a fair bit recently. Probably Viney and a few other leaders have also met him face to face as a starting point. But none of them were at training. Maybe JVR as a part-time ruckman should have reached out. But he could well have been interstate recently. Anyway when I'm perfect I can be more critical. In a week things will probably look a lot better.

How was Kentfield looking?

With his eyes I presume.

AMW is looking great! So bloody good to see him back to 100% 🥳

I think if he stays fit he will be a really important player for us next season.

He would have been very useful in the recent season too.

Andy not 100% - only did the ACL in February. Post-Christmas is "box-ticking time" for Andy. Did quite a bit of running with CJ who we now know (from the Club mic up posts) had just flown in from Qld and so was probably told to take it easy today.

This is a massive pre-season for van rooyen

Um yes and needs a stellar pre season not to mention greatly improved year. Looking forward to JEFFO having a monster pre season as well🤩

Viney was standing on a ladder, I assume.

Careful, he knows where you live. 😁

Did you get to say hi to him again?

Say Hi??? Pfft we’re way past the Say Hi stage. Kingy went straight to the hug-list. No easy feat since I hadda scale him then rappel back down to terra firma.

Culley wearing 13

If Culley has the skills and “footy IQ” of the recent #13 and the dedication and work ethic of a previous red-headed #13 he will be a star.

Of course we see all too often that a change of number doesn’t necessarily equate with improved performances.

So, Jai, good luck to you but success or failure or something in between is really up to nobody but YOU.
